I will ruin her vines and her fig trees, which she said were her pay from her lovers; I will make them a thicket, and wild animals will devour them.

I will destroy her vines and her fig trees. She said they were her pay from her lovers. I’ll make them like clumps of bushes and weeds. Wild animals will eat them up.

當那日子凡經常種一千棵葡萄樹、值一千錠銀子的地方、必都撇下給蒺藜和荊棘。

如今我告訴你們我要怎樣處理我的葡萄園。我要把它的籬笆撤去，使它被吞喫；我要把它的圍牆拆個破口，使它被踐踏。

我必像丟崽子的母熊猛撲他們，撕裂他們的心囊，在那裏像母獅吞喫他們；野獸必撕開他們。

他們的母親行了淫亂；懷了他們的、行了羞恥事；因為她說：「我要跟着我的愛人；我的餅、我的水、我的羊毛、我的麻、我的油、我喝的酒、都是他們給的。」

『當猶大王希西家的日子、有摩利沙人彌迦對猶大的眾民傳神言說：「萬軍之永恆主這麼說：錫安必被人犂像田地；耶路撒冷必變為荒堆；這殿的山必像森林的山丘。」

利巴嫩就要變為園地，園地就要被看為樹林麼？

永恆主發神諭說：我必徹底收拾他們；葡萄樹上都沒有葡萄；無花果樹上都沒有無花果；葉子全都凋殘；我賜給他們的都離開他們而過去了。』

為我人民的土地、那長着荊棘和蒺藜的！為了歡躍的都市一切娛樂的院落哀哭哦！因為宮堡必被丟棄，熱鬧的城市必被撇下，山岡和守望樓必永為洞穴，做野驢的娛樂所，羊羣的牧場；等到聖靈從高處傾注於我們，曠野就變為園地，園地就被看為樹林了。

以色列啊，不要歡喜！不要快樂像列族之民哦！因為你行了淫離棄你的上帝，在各穀場上如妓女喜愛淫資。

故此因你們的緣故、錫安必被耕種為田地，耶路撒冷必變為亂堆；這殿的山必成為森林之山丘。

你為甚麼拆壞它的圍牆，任憑過路人都摘取它呢？
