Let whoever is wise understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognize them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

孰為智者、而明此事乎、孰為哲人、而知其情乎、耶和華之途乃正、義人必履之、而罪人蹶於其中、

誰有智慧、可悉其情、孰具聰明、可知其道、耶和華之途、無不正、義人履之、罪人蹶焉。

誰為智者而明此事乎、孰具聰明而知之乎、主之道無不正、義人履之、罪人顛仆其中、或作主之道無不公正善人履之惡人顛仆其上誰有智慧能明此理誰有聰明能知此事

Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

If someone is wise, they will realize that what I’ve said is true. If they have understanding, they will know what it means. The ways of the Lord are right. People who are right with God live the way he wants them to. But those who refuse to obey him trip and fall.

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.

Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.

Let whoever is wise pay attention to these things and consider the Lord’s acts of faithful love.

The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the honorable, but destruction awaits the malicious.

The one who is from God listens to God’s words. This is why you don’t listen, because you are not from God.”

The righteous Lord is in her; He does no wrong. He applies His justice morning by morning; He does not fail at dawn, yet the one who does wrong knows no shame.

Who is the man wise enough to understand this? Who has the Lord spoken to, that he may explain it? Why is the land destroyed and scorched like a wilderness, so no one can pass through?

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

a wise man will listen and increase his learning, and a discerning man will obtain guidance—for understanding a proverb or a parable, the words of the wise, and their riddles.

I know, Lord, that Your judgments are just and that You have afflicted me fairly.

I carefully follow all Your precepts and hate every false way.

The Rock— His work is perfect; all His ways are entirely just. A faithful God, without prejudice, He is righteous and true.

The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up.

Then Simeon blessed them and told His mother Mary:“ Indeed, this child is destined to cause the fall and rise of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be opposed—

“ You are a king then?” Pilate asked.“ You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied.“ I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.”

Why is that? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.As it is written: Look! I am putting a stone in Zion to stumble over and a rock to trip over, yet the one who believes on Him will not be put to shame.

“ But you say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair.’ Now listen, house of Israel: Is it My way that is unfair? Instead, isn’t it your ways that are unfair?

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. And who is competent for this?

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.

If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not have sin. Now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His instructions are trustworthy.They are established forever and ever, enacted in truth and in what is right.

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

“ But your people say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair,’ even though it is their own way that isn’t fair.When a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he will die on account of this.But if a wicked person turns from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live because of this.Yet you say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair.’ I will judge each of you according to his ways, house of Israel.”

He answered them,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.For whoever has, more will be given to him, and he will have more than enough. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,‘ Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”

The path of the righteous is level; You clear a straight path for the righteous.

“ This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed.

And anyone who is not offended because of Me is blessed.”

When they heard this, everyone in the synagogue was enraged.They got up, drove Him out of town, and brought Him to the edge of the hill that their town was built on, intending to hurl Him over the cliff.

Yet the righteous person will hold to his way, and the one whose hands are clean will grow stronger.

You are to regard only the Lord of Hosts as holy. Only He should be feared; only He should be held in awe.He will be a sanctuary; but for the two houses of Israel, He will be a stone to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.Many will stumble over these; they will fall and be broken; they will be snared and captured.

They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.

But both rebels and sinners will be destroyed, and those who abandon the Lord will perish.

Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding. It is impossible for God to do wrong, and for the Almighty to act unjustly.For He repays a person according to his deeds, and He brings his ways on him.Indeed, it is true that God does not act wickedly and the Almighty does not pervert justice.

who says to a king,“ Worthless man!” and to nobles,“ Wicked men!”?God is not partial to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of His hands.

So honor will come to you who believe, but for the unbelieving, The stone that the builders rejected— this One has become the cornerstone,and A stone to stumble over, and a rock to trip over. They stumble because they disobey the message; they were destined for this.

Happy are the people whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
