O Ephraim, I do not want to have anything to do with idols anymore! I will answer him and care for him. I am like a luxuriant cypress tree; your fruitfulness comes from me!

以法莲必说：‘我与偶像还有什么关涉呢？’我耶和华回答他，也必顾念他。我如青翠的松树；你的果子从我而得。”

以法莲说：“我与偶像有何相干？”我应允他，顾念他：我如青翠的松树，你的果实从我而来。

以法蓮將曰、我與偶像猶有何涉、我耶和華既應之、必加眷顧、我若青松、爾將由我而結實、

以法蓮族與偶像何涉、我垂念之、使之扶疏若松、賴我而結實、

以法蓮將云、我與偶像何涉、我耶和華必應允之、眷顧之、我若根深葉茂之柏樹、爾欲獲果、惟由我而獲、爾欲獲果惟由我而獲或作爾惟賴我而結實

Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? I will answer him and care for him. I am like a flourishing juniper; your fruitfulness comes from me.”

Ephraim will have nothing more to do with other gods. I will answer the prayers of my people. I will take good care of them. I will be like a healthy juniper tree to them. All the fruit they bear will come from me.”

O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from me comes your fruit.

“ O Israel, stay away from idols! I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you. I am like a tree that is always green; all your fruit comes from me.”

for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth–

Evergreens will grow in place of thorn bushes, firs will grow in place of nettles; they will be a monument to the LORD, a permanent reminder that will remain.

That person sings to others, saying:‘ I have sinned and falsified what is right, but I was not punished according to what I deserved.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self- control. Against such things there is no law.

Return to the LORD and repent! We are ashamed and humiliated because of the disgraceful things we did previously.’Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the LORD, affirm it!

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and exclaimed,“ Look, a true Israelite in whom there is no deceit!”Nathanael asked him,“ How do you know me?” Jesus replied,“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

I am able to do all things through the one who strengthens me.
