今為惡益甚、匠人以巧捷之技、鎔銀鑄像、祭司命眾、敬彼犢像、接吻以為禮、

And now they sin more and more, and make for themselves metal images, idols skillfully made of their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. It is said of them,“ Those who offer human sacrifice kiss calves!”

Now they continue to sin by making silver idols, images shaped skillfully with human hands.“ Sacrifice to these,” they cry,“ and kiss the calf idols!”

Now they continue to sin and make themselves a cast image, idols skillfully made from their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. People say about them,“ Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves.”

And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver,[ and] idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

Even now they persist in sin! They make metal images for themselves, idols that they skillfully fashion from their own silver; all of them are nothing but the work of craftsmen! There is a saying about them:“ Those who sacrifice to the calf idol are calf kissers!”

Now they sin more and more, and have made themselves molten images of their silver, even idols according to their own understanding, all of them the work of the craftsmen. They say of them,‘ They offer human sacrifice and kiss the calves.’

那些从钱袋倒出金子，用天平称银子的人，雇用金匠制造神像；他们向神像又俯伏又叩拜。

但我在以色列人中留下七千人，他们全是未曾向巴力屈过膝的，也未曾与巴力亲过嘴的。”

他们用金银把它修饰，用钉子和锤子把它钉牢，使它不动摇。

他用剩下来的一半做了一个神像，就是他雕刻的偶像，他向它俯伏，向它敬拜，又向它祷告，说：“求你救我，因为你是我的神。”他们并不知道，也不明白；因为耶和华闭住他们的眼睛，使他们不能看见，塞住他们的心，使他们不能明白。没有人细心思想，也没有人有知识有聪明说：“我把木头的一半放在火里燃烧，我也在炭火上烘过饼，烤过肉吃，剩下的，我却用来做了一个可憎之物，我要向木头叩拜吗？”他所追求的只是灰尘，被迷惑了的心使他偏离正道了；他不能救自己，也不会说：“在我的右手中不是有个假神吗？”

其实她不知道，是我把五谷、新酒、橄榄油赐给了她；甚至他们用来制造巴力的金银，也是我大量给她的；

雕刻的像有什么用处呢？不过是匠人雕刻出来的；铸造的像、虚假的教师，有什么用处呢？匠人竟倚靠自己所做，那不能说话的假神。你这对木头说“起来”，对哑石说“醒吧”的人，有祸了！它怎能教导你呢？看哪！它包金镶银，里面却全无气息。

但神怎样回答他呢？“我为自己留下了七千人，是没有向巴力屈膝的。”

他们自以为是聪明的，却成了愚蠢的。他们用必朽坏的人、飞禽、走兽和昆虫的形象，取代了永不朽坏的神的荣耀。因此，神就任凭他们顺着心中的私欲去作污秽的事，以致羞辱自己的身体。他们用虚谎取代了神的真理，敬拜事奉受造之物，却不敬拜事奉造物的主。他是永远可称颂的，阿们。

刀剑必在他们的城中飞舞，毁坏他们的门闩，因着他们自己的计谋，吞灭他们。

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油，倒在扫罗的头上，又与他亲吻，说：“耶和华不是已经膏立你作他产业的领袖吗？

但恶人和骗子必越来越坏，他们欺骗人，也必受欺骗。

你们要用嘴亲吻子，否则他一发怒，你们就在路上灭亡，因为他的怒气快要发作。凡是投靠他的，都是有福的。

他们全是顽梗愚昧，他们所领受的教导是来自那些虚无、木做的偶像。

耶和华说：“这些悖逆的儿女有祸了！他们实行计谋，却不是出于我的意思，他们结盟，却不是出于我的灵，以致罪上加罪。

这牛犊是出于以色列，是匠人所做的，它并不是神，撒玛利亚的牛犊必被粉碎。

“你们当记念这事，要坚定不移；悖逆的人哪！你们要留心思想。

以色列最茂盛的葡萄树，自己能结果子。他的果子越多，他就越增添祭坛；他的土地越肥美，他就使柱像越美丽。

有耳却不能听，口中也没有气息。做偶像的必和它们一样，所有倚靠它们的也必这样。

现在，你们这些罪人的族类，也来接替你们的先祖，增添耶和华对以色列的烈怒！

你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们整个头都受了伤，整个心都发昏了。

他没有在耶和华面前谦卑，像他父亲玛拿西谦卑一样；这亚们所犯的罪过越来越多。

可是你一直硬着心肠，不肯悔改，为自己积蓄神的忿怒，就是他彰显公义审判的那天所要发的忿怒。

“列国逃脱的人哪！你们要来集合，一同近前来。那些抬着木头做的偶像，向不能拯救人的神祈求的，真是无知。

列国的偶像是金的、银的，是人手所做的。它们有口，却不能说话；有眼，却不能看；有耳，却不能听；有鼻，却不能闻；有手，却不能摸；有脚，却不能行；也不能用喉咙发声。做偶像的必和偶像一样；凡是倚靠它们的，都必这样。

对他们说：“你们不可把这些俘虏带进来，因为我们已经得罪了耶和华，你们想增加我们的罪恶和过犯，我们的过犯实在严重，耶和华的震怒临到以色列人身上了。”

“他们立了君王，却不是出于我；他们立了首领，我却不知道。他们用自己的金银为自己做了偶像，以致他们被剪除。
