Where is your king, that he may save you? Where are your rulers in all your towns, of whom you said,‘ Give me a king and princes’?

Where is your king? Wasn’t he supposed to save you? Where are the rulers in all your towns? You said,‘ Give us a king and princes.’

Where now is your king, to save you in all your cities? Where are all your rulers— those of whom you said,“ Give me a king and princes”?

Now where is your king? Let him save you! Where are all the leaders of the land, the king and the officials you demanded of me?

They have set up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

and they said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto Jehovah.

Surely now shall they say, We have no king; for we fear not Jehovah; and the king, what can he do for us?

And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was returned, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.

And Jehovah raised up judges, who saved them out of the hand of those that despoiled them.And yet they hearkened not unto their judges; for they played the harlot after other gods, and bowed themselves down unto them: they turned aside quickly out of the way wherein their fathers walked, obeying the commandments of Jehovah; but they did not so.And when Jehovah raised them up judges, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented Jehovah because of their groaning by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah is our lawgiver, Jehovah is our king; he will save us.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.

Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art King of Israel.

Sing praises to God, sing praises: Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.For God is the King of all the earth: Sing ye praises with understanding.

For our shield belongeth unto Jehovah; And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.

But the people refused to hearken unto the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay: but we will have a king over us,that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

Thou art my King, O God: Command deliverance for Jacob.

Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off: is not Jehovah in Zion? is not her King in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with foreign vanities?

Yet God is my King of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth.

Jehovah is King for ever and ever: The nations are perished out of his land.

Yet I am Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt; and thou shalt know no god but me, and besides me there is no saviour.
