“人子啊，葡萄木比林中其他木材更好吗？葡萄木有什么用呢？能用它制造挂钩挂东西吗？它只能用来当柴烧。如果火已经烧了它的两头，中间也烧黑了，它还有什么用呢？它完好无损的时候，尚且不能用来制造工具，被火烧后岂不更没用了吗？所以，主耶和华说，我怎样把林中的葡萄树丢在火中当柴烧，也必照样丢弃耶路撒冷的居民。我必严惩他们。他们纵然火里逃生，仍要被火烧灭。我严惩他们的时候，他们便知道我是耶和华。

他们必吞噬你们的儿女、牛羊、粮食、葡萄和无花果，用刀剑摧毁你们所依靠的坚城。”

我要把你们驱散到各国，还要拔刀追杀你们。你们的土地将荒废，城邑将沦为废墟。

你要对南地的树林说，‘你要听耶和华的话。主耶和华说，我要在你那里燃起火来，烧毁你所有的青树和枯树。这不熄的烈火要从南到北烧焦一切。

在收割之前，在花已凋谢、葡萄将熟之时，耶和华必毁灭古实人，就像用刀削去葡萄树的嫩枝，砍掉蔓延的枝条。

我要摧毁你们境内的城邑，拆除你们所有的堡垒。

耶和华说：“我悖逆的儿女有祸了！他们不遵行我的旨意，按自己的计划行事；未经我同意，擅自与人结盟，不断犯罪。

我要使你们的城邑沦为废墟，使你们的敬拜场所荒凉，也不再悦纳你们的馨香之祭。
