你们将不能再住在耶和华的土地上。以法莲要返回埃及，在亚述吃不洁之物。你们将不能再献奠祭给耶和华，你们的祭牲也不蒙悦纳。这些祭物如居丧之人的食物，吃的人都被玷污。你们的食物只能供自己吃，不能带进耶和华的殿。在耶和华所定的节期里，你们要做什么呢？即使你们逃脱毁灭之灾，埃及人也要把你们聚集起来，在摩弗埋葬你们。你们的珍贵银器要散落在荆棘中，你们的帐篷中要长满蒺藜。

之后，以色列人将回心转意，寻求他们的上帝耶和华，归向他们的君王大卫。在末后的日子，他们将怀着敬畏的心归向耶和华，领受祂的恩惠。

他们必来到锡安山上欢呼，为耶和华所赐的五谷、新酒、油、羔羊和牛犊而欢欣。他们就像水源充足的田园，一无所缺。

“主耶和华说，‘我要把分散到列国的以色列人招聚起来，当着列国的面在他们身上彰显我的圣洁，那时他们要回到我赐给我仆人雅各的地方居住。他们将在那里安然居住，兴建房屋，栽种葡萄园。我审判鄙视他们的四邻后，他们必安然居住。这样，他们便知道我是他们的上帝耶和华。’”

我要使我被掳的以色列子民返回故乡，他们要重建废城并住在城中，栽种葡萄园，喝园中酿出的美酒，整理园圃，吃园中出产的佳果。我要将以色列人栽种在他们自己的土地上，永不再从我赐给他们的土地上拔除他们。”这是你们的上帝耶和华说的。

他们要安居在我赐给我仆人雅各的土地上，就是你们祖先居住的地方。他们世世代代都要居住在那里，我仆人大卫要永远做他们的王。

告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，‘我要把以色列的百姓从他们分散的各国招聚起来，领他们回归故土。
