这事使耶罗波安的家陷入罪里，甚至他的家被剪除，从地面上消灭了。

你们当在基比亚吹角，在拉玛吹号，在伯‧亚文发出警报；便雅悯哪，留意你的背后！

以色列啊，你虽然行淫，犹大却不可犯罪；不要往吉甲去，不要上到伯‧亚文，也不要指着永生的耶和华起誓。

我把那使你们犯罪所铸的牛犊拿来，用火焚烧，捣碎后再磨成粉末，好像灰尘。我把这灰尘撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。

神人遵照耶和华的话向坛呼叫，说：“坛哪，坛哪！耶和华如此说：‘看哪，大卫家必生一个儿子，名叫约西亚，他必将在你上面烧香的丘坛祭司，宰杀在你上面，人的骨头也必烧在你上面。’”

把祭司的骸骨烧在他们的坛上，洁净了犹大和耶路撒冷。他又在玛拿西、以法莲、西缅、拿弗他利各城和四围的废墟，拆毁祭坛，把亚舍拉和雕刻的像打碎成灰，砍断以色列全地所有的香坛。于是他回耶路撒冷去了。

这都是因雅各的罪过，因以色列家的罪恶。雅各的罪过在哪里呢？岂不是在撒玛利亚吗？犹大的丘坛在哪里呢？岂不是在耶路撒冷吗？

这一切事都完毕以后，在那里的以色列众人就到犹大的城镇，打碎柱像，砍断亚舍拉，又在犹大、便雅悯、以法莲、玛拿西遍地把丘坛和祭坛完全拆毁。于是以色列众人各回各城，各归自己产业的地去了。

此外，在伯特利丘坛的坛，就是尼八的儿子耶罗波安所筑、使以色列人陷入罪里的，他也把这坛和丘坛都拆毁了，又焚烧丘坛，打碎成灰，并焚烧了亚舍拉。

以东的宫殿要长出荆棘，城堡要生长蒺藜和刺草；成为野狗的住处，鸵鸟的居所。

在各山顶献祭，在各高冈上烧香，在橡树、杨树、大树之下，因为那里树影美好。所以，你们的女儿行淫，你们的媳妇犯奸淫。

因耶罗波安所犯的罪，又因他使以色列陷入罪里，耶和华必将以色列交出来。”

他们心怀二意，现今要定为有罪。耶和华必拆毁他们的祭坛，粉碎他们的柱像。

拉吉的居民哪，要用快马套车；锡安的罪由你而起，以色列的罪过在你那里显出。

撒玛利亚的居民必因伯‧亚文的牛犊惊恐；它的百姓为它悲哀，它的祭司为它战兢，因为荣耀已经离开它。

在那些日子，人求死，却死不了；想死，死却避开他们。
