看哪，他们逃避灾难；埃及人必收殓他们的尸首，摩弗人必葬埋他们的骸骨。他们用银子做的美物上必长蒺藜；他们的帐棚中必生荆棘。

那指着撒玛利亚牛犊起誓的说：‘但哪，我们指着你那里的活神起誓。’又说：‘我们指着别是巴的神道起誓。’这些人都必仆倒，永不再起来。”

耶和华兴起，使地大震动的时候，人就进入石洞，进入土穴，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。

荆棘蒺藜必长在我百姓的地上，又长在欢乐的城中和一切快乐的房屋上。

这事叫耶罗波安的家陷在罪里，甚至他的家从地上除灭了。

“你们当在基比亚吹角，在拉玛吹号，在伯亚文吹出大声，说：‘便雅悯哪，有仇敌在你后头！

“以色列啊，你虽然行淫，犹大却不可犯罪。不要往吉甲去，不要上到伯亚文，也不要指着永生的耶和华起誓。

我把那叫你们犯罪所铸的牛犊用火焚烧，又捣碎磨得很细，以致细如灰尘，我就把这灰尘撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。

神人奉耶和华的命向坛呼叫，说：“坛哪，坛哪！耶和华如此说：大卫家里必生一个儿子，名叫约西亚，他必将邱坛的祭司，就是在你上面烧香的，杀在你上面，人的骨头也必烧在你上面。”

将他们祭司的骸骨烧在坛上，洁净了犹大和耶路撒冷；又在玛拿西、以法莲、西缅、拿弗他利各城，和四围破坏之处，都这样行；又拆毁祭坛，把木偶和雕刻的像打碎成灰，砍断以色列遍地所有的日像，就回耶路撒冷去了。

这都因雅各的罪过，以色列家的罪恶。雅各的罪过在哪里呢？岂不是在撒玛利亚吗？犹大的邱坛在哪里呢？岂不是在耶路撒冷吗？

这事既都完毕，在那里的以色列众人就到犹大的城邑，打碎柱像，砍断木偶，又在犹大、便雅悯、以法莲、玛拿西遍地将邱坛和祭坛拆毁净尽。于是以色列众人各回各城，各归各地。

他将伯特利的坛，就是叫以色列人陷在罪里、尼八的儿子耶罗波安所筑的那坛，都拆毁焚烧，打碎成灰，并焚烧了亚舍拉。

以东的宫殿要长荆棘；保障要长蒺藜和刺草；要作野狗的住处，鸵鸟的居所。

在各山顶，各高冈的橡树、杨树、栗树之下，献祭烧香，因为树影美好。“所以，你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇行淫。

因耶罗波安所犯的罪，又使以色列人陷在罪里，耶和华必将以色列人交给仇敌。”

他们心怀二意，现今要定为有罪。耶和华必拆毁他们的祭坛，毁坏他们的柱像。

拉吉的居民哪，要用快马套车；锡安民的罪由你而起；以色列人的罪过在你那里显出。

撒玛利亚的居民必因伯亚文的牛犊惊恐；崇拜牛犊的民和喜爱牛犊的祭司都必因荣耀离开它，为它悲哀。

在那些日子，人要求死，决不得死；愿意死，死却远避他们。
