Thorns and thistles will grow up around their altars. They will beg the mountains,“ Bury us!” and plead with the hills,“ Fall on us!”

“ And on that day,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,“ I will erase idol worship throughout the land, so that even the names of the idols will be forgotten. I will remove from the land both the false prophets and the spirit of impurity that came with them.

“ The people of Israel mingle with godless foreigners, making themselves as worthless as a half baked cake!

So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.
