爾在伯特利、多行不義、主必使爾敗北、以色列王忽致殞亡。

爾曹遇此、皆伯特利所使、皆因爾之大惡、以色列王必朝時殞亡、

So will it happen to you, Bethel, because your wickedness is great. When that day dawns, the king of Israel will be completely destroyed.

People of Bethel, that will happen to you. You have committed far too many sins. When the time comes for me to punish you, the king of Israel will be completely destroyed.”

Thus it shall be done to you, O Bethel, because of your great evil. At dawn the king of Israel shall be utterly cut off.

You will share that fate, Bethel, because of your great wickedness. When the day of judgment dawns, the king of Israel will be completely destroyed.

那时他们会说：“我们没有君王，因为我们不敬畏耶和华。君王能为我们做什么呢？”

既然如此，难道是良善的诫命叫我死吗？当然不是！是罪借着良善的诫命叫我死。这样，罪借着诫命叫我死就显出它实在是邪恶至极！

现在，耶和华说：“正如一个雇工的工作年限是三年，摩押的荣耀也必在三年之内消失，那里的人民必遭藐视，残存的人必寥寥无几、软弱无力。”

以撒子孙的丘坛必遭毁坏，以色列的庙宇必成废墟，我要用刀攻击耶罗波安王朝。”伯特利的祭司亚玛谢派人告诉以色列王耶罗波安：“阿摩司在以色列家图谋背叛你，我们国家无法容忍他的言论。因为阿摩司这样说，‘耶罗波安将丧身刀下，以色列人必被掳去，远离家乡。’”亚玛谢对我说：“先见啊，走吧！逃回犹大去吧！你要在那里挣吃的，在那里说预言。不可再在伯特利说预言，这里是王的圣所，是国庙。”我答道：“我本不是先知，也不是先知的门徒。我只是一个牧人，也替人看护桑树。但耶和华不再让我看守羊群，祂对我说，‘去！向我的以色列子民说预言。’亚玛谢啊，你说，‘不要说攻击以色列的预言，不要传讲攻击以撒子孙的信息。’现在你要听耶和华对你说的话。耶和华说，‘你的妻子必在这城里沦为妓女，你的儿女必丧身刀下，你的田地必被人丈量、瓜分，你自己必死在异乡。以色列人必被掳去，远离家乡。’”
