越至於後、以色列族其數必如海沙、不能斗量籌算也、今我語人曰、爾非我民、異日將稱為永生上帝眾子、

將來或作雖然以色列人數必如海沙、不可量、不可計、今我語之曰、爾曹非我民、後日必稱為永生天主之子、

“ Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ they will be called‘ children of the living God.’

“ But the time will come when the people of Israel will be like the sand on the seashore. It can’t be measured or counted. Now it is said about them,‘ You are not my people.’ But at that time they will be called‘ children of the living God.’

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was said to them,“ You are not my people,” it shall be said to them,“ Children of the living God.”

“ Yet the time will come when Israel’s people will be like the sands of the seashore— too many to count! Then, at the place where they were told,‘ You are not my people,’ it will be said,‘ You are children of the living God.’

Yet the number of the Israelites will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or counted. And in the place where they were told: You are not my people, they will be called: Sons of the living God.

Yet the number of the sons of Israel Will be like the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or counted; And in the place Where it is said to them,“ You are not My people,” It will be said to them,“ You are the sons of the living God.”

“ Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not My people,’ There it shall be said to them,‘ You are sons of the living God.’

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

( 2: 1) However, in the future the number of the people of Israel will be like the sand of the sea which can be neither measured nor numbered. Although it was said to them,“ You are not my people,” it will be said to them,“ You are children of the living God!”

Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured or counted; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ they will be called‘ sons of the living God.’

「我將要做你們的父親，你們將要做我的兒女。這是主、全能者說的。」

而且因你們是兒子，神就派遣他兒子的靈進入你們的心，呼叫：「阿爸！父啊！」這樣，你不再是奴僕，卻是兒子了；既然是兒子，就藉著神，也是繼承人。

但你們屬於蒙揀選的族類、君王的祭司體系、聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民；為要使你們宣揚曾召喚你們的那一位的美德——他召喚你們出黑暗，入他奇妙的光明。你們從前不是子民，但如今卻是神的子民；從前沒有蒙憐憫，但如今卻蒙了憐憫。

你們看，父所賜給我們的是何等的愛，為要使我們被稱為「神的兒女」，而我們就是神的兒女。世人之所以不認識我們，是因為不認識父。各位蒙愛的人哪，現在我們是神的兒女，將來會怎樣，尚未顯明。我們已經知道的是：基督顯現的時候，我們就會像他，因為我們將看見他的本相。

正如神在何西阿書上也說：「我將要稱那不是我子民的為『我的子民』，那不蒙愛的為『蒙愛的』。從前在什麼地方對他們說『你們不是我的子民』，就在那裡，他們將被稱為『永生神的兒女。』」以賽亞論到以色列人，呼喊說：「以色列子民的人數雖然多如海沙，將要得救的卻是剩餘的少數。主就是要在地上徹底、迅速地成就他的話。」

但是所有接受他的，就是信他名的人，他就賜給他們權柄成為神的兒女。

他們必從萬國，用馬匹、戰車、篷車、騾子、駱駝，把你們所有的兄弟都帶到我的聖山耶路撒冷，作為供物獻給耶和華，就像以色列子孫用潔淨的器皿把供物帶到耶和華的殿那樣。

原來，凡是蒙神的靈帶領的人，他們才是神的兒女。就是說，你們所領受的不是一個奴役的靈，使你們再有懼怕；相反，你們所領受的是使你們有兒子名份的聖靈——藉著他，我們呼叫：「阿爸！父啊！」聖靈親自與我們的靈一同作證：我們是神的兒女。既然是兒女，也就是繼承人；如果我們真是為了與他一同得榮耀而與他一同受苦，我們就是神的繼承人，而且與基督同做繼承人。

對北方，我要說：『交出來！』對南方，我要說：『不可留阻！』你們要把我的兒子們從遠方帶來，把我的女兒們從地極帶來——

你舉目向四圍觀看吧！眾人都聚集，來到你這裡；你的兒子們從遠方而來，你的女兒們被抱在胯上帶來。那時，你看見了就神采奕奕，你的心又震驚又寬暢；因為海洋的財寶必轉而歸你，列國的財富必來到你這裡。成群的駱駝隊——米甸和以法的獨峰駝隊必遮蓋你的地；他們都從示巴而來，帶著金子和乳香，要傳揚對耶和華的讚美。基達的所有羊群都必聚集到你那裡，尼拜約的公綿羊要供你使用；牠們必被獻在我的祭壇上作蒙悅納的祭物。我必使我榮美的殿得榮耀。這些是誰呢——他們如雲彩飛來、像鴿子飛回籠？看哪！眾海島仰望我；塔爾施的船隻率先把你的兒子們，連同他們的金銀一起從遠方帶來；這是為了以色列的聖者——耶和華你神的名，因為他已經使你得榮耀。外邦人必重建你的城牆，他們的君王都必事奉你。我曾經在震怒中擊打了你，而如今我在恩典中憐憫了你。你的城門必一直敞開，晝夜不關閉，好讓人把列國的財富帶來歸你，也把列國的君王領來。要知道，不服事你的邦國，都必滅亡；那些國也必全然荒廢。黎巴嫩的榮耀——松樹、杉樹和柏樹必一同歸你，為要裝飾我聖所之地；我必使我腳所在的地方得榮耀。那些曾苦待你的，他們的子孫都必來向你屈身；所有曾藐視你的，都要在你的腳前下拜；他們要稱你為「耶和華的城」、「以色列聖者的錫安」。你曾經被離棄、被恨惡、荒涼無人經過，而如今我要使你成為永遠的誇耀、世世代代的喜樂。你必吮吸列國的奶，吮吸君王們的乳。這樣你就知道我耶和華是你的拯救者，是你的救贖主，是雅各的大能者。我要拿金子來代替銅，拿銀子來代替鐵，拿銅來代替木頭，拿鐵來代替石頭。我要使平安作你的管理者，使公義作你的監督。你的地上必不再聽見殘暴的事，你的境內也不再聽見毀壞和破敗的事；你必稱你的城牆為「救恩」，稱你的城門為「讚美」。白天太陽必不再作你的光，月亮的光輝也不再照亮你；耶和華必作你永遠的光，你的神必作你的榮耀。你的太陽必不再下落，你的月亮也不再虧缺；耶和華必作你永遠的光，你哀慟的日子將會結束。那時，你的民全是義人，他們永遠繼承地土；他們是我栽種的枝子，是我手的作為，為要顯出我的榮耀。至小的必成為族群，至弱的必成為強國。時候一到，我耶和華必速速成就這事。

我必定大大祝福你，使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星辰、海邊的沙粒；你的後裔必占有仇敵的城門。

我也要使你的後裔如同地上的塵沙那樣多——如果人能數算地上的塵沙，才能數算你的後裔。

所以從一個如同已經死了的人，就生出了許多人，像天空的星那樣眾多，像海邊的沙那樣無法數算。

重建你的必快速回來，而那些毀壞你、使你荒廢的，都必離你而去。你舉目向四圍觀看吧！他們全都聚集，來到你這裡。」耶和華宣告：「我指著我的永生起誓：你必戴上他們如同戴上裝飾，繫上他們如同新娘繫上飾品。至於你的廢墟、淒涼之處、遭毀壞之地，現在作居住用必顯得太窄小；而那些吞滅你的人必遠離你。你居喪時所生的兒女還要說給你聽：『這地方太窄小了，請你給我們地方居住！』那時你心裡必說：『我既喪子，又不能生育，我被擄、被放逐，究竟是誰給我生了這些孩子呢？又是誰把這些孩子養大的呢？看哪！我被留下孤身一人，這些孩子究竟是從哪裡來的呢？』」主耶和華如此說：「看哪！我要向列國舉手，向萬民高舉我的旗幟，他們就把你的兒子抱在懷中，把你的女兒背在肩上帶來。

你的後裔也會多如沙粒，你腹中所生的會多如細沙；他們的名號在我面前不會被剪除，也不會被除滅。」

但你說過：『我必定厚待你，使你的後裔如同海邊的沙粒，多得無法數清。』」

「不能生育、未曾生產的女子啊，你要歡唱！未曾分娩的女子啊，你要放聲歡唱、呼喊！因為孤淒的女子比有丈夫的女子，將有更多的兒女。」這是耶和華說的。「要擴張你帳篷所在的地方，伸展你住所的幔帳，不要止住！要放長你的繩子，堅固你的橛子！因為你要左右擴展，你的後裔必占有列國為繼業，又在荒涼的城邑居住。
