一般大司祭必須逐日為己為人、獻贖罪之祭；至耶穌則己既無罪可贖即眾人之罪、彼亦已獻身以為之贖、一勞而永逸矣。

兄弟乎、吾人茲得藉耶穌之寶血、遵其為吾人開闢之路、而自由進入閟幄矣。此新路也、亦生路也。其所通過之帷幕、則基督之肉身也。

正惟其本身亦囿於荏弱故能與愚昧迷妄者同病相憐。因此、彼之奉獻贖罪祭也、不惟為人亦為己耳。

蓋基督所入者、非一人手所倣造之聖所；彼實已直達天廷、且為吾人之故、而仰謁天顏矣。彼亦無須迭次自獻、如通常大司祭之必須歲攜不屬自身之血、以進閟帷也。

小子知趨避。福祿盡在茲。

心厭彼逆。垂四十春。中心懷邪。天理不明。

然稽諸事實、則歲歲獻祭、年年懷罪。
