When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.

That’s how everything was arranged in the holy tent. The priests entered it at regular times. They went into the outer room to do their work for God and others.

These preparations having thus been made, the priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties,

國強心驕、以召禍患、干上帝耶和華命、入殿焚香於壇。祭司長亞薩哩亞、與耶和華祭司八十人、素稱傑士、從王入殿、諫曰、凡焚香於耶和華前者、惟亞倫子孫為祭司則可、非爾所得與焉。今爾干大典、入聖所、上帝耶和華必不加榮、爾宜速退。王於殿間壇側、祭司之前、執鼎焚香、聞諫而怒、顙忽患癩。

清晨修燈時、亞倫必焚香於其上、薄暮燃燈時、亦必焚香於其上、炷香我耶和華前、歷代勿替。
