When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.

That’s how everything was arranged in the holy tent. The priests entered it at regular times. They went into the outer room to do their work for God and others.

These preparations having thus been made, the priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties,

他既強盛，就心驕氣傲，以致行事腐敗，對永恆主他的上帝不忠實，進永恆主的殿堂、要在香壇上燒香。跟他進去的有祭司亞撒利雅，還有同亞撒利雅在一起的、永恆主的祭司八十個、有勇氣的人。他們阻擋烏西雅王，對他說：『烏西雅啊，向永恆主燒香並不是你應作的事，乃是亞倫子孫作祭司者的事啊；他們才是受聖職來燒香的。你出聖所吧！因為你行了僭妄事了；並且永恆主上帝也不使你得尊榮。』烏西雅就很生氣；他原有香爐在手裏要燒香；他一向祭司生氣的時候，就在永恆主殿中香壇旁邊祭司們面前、他額上就患起痲瘋屬之病來了。

亞倫要燒芬芳的香在壇上：早晨修整燈的時候、他要燒這香；傍晚時分、亞倫點燈的時候，他也要燒這香，做你們在永恆主面前代代不斷的香。
