So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

如是基督一獻己以負眾罪、將以無罪復顯於望之者、以致拯救、

如是、基督自獻為眾受刑、祗一獻耳、厥後顯著、不復受刑、欲救所望之者、

如是基督一次獻己、以負負或作贖眾人之罪、後必以無罪再顯著於望之者、使之得救、後必以無罪再顯著於望之者使之得救或作後必再顯著使望之者得救不復有罪當贖

故基督既一度為除眾人之罪而捨生、亦將為其信徒重臨於世、非再贖罪、乃為之超渡也。

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

In the same way, Christ was offered up once. He took away the sins of many people. He will also come a second time. At that time he will not suffer for sin. Instead, he will come to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this[ is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this[ is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

And not only[ they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption,[ to wit], the redemption of our body.

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead,[ even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

He shall see of the travail of his soul,[ and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.Therefore will I divide him[ a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as[ we are, yet] without sin.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am,[ there] ye may be also.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they[ also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

But not as the offence, so also[ is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace,[ which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

[ Which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:Seeing[ it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe( because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

And ye shall flee[ to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come,[ and] all the saints with thee.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.But he[ was] wounded for our transgressions,[ he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace[ was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and[ by] our gathering together unto him,

But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity:[ it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it[ is] most holy, and[ God] hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive[ and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive[ and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father’s house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
