蓋基督所入者、非一人手所倣造之聖所；彼實已直達天廷、且為吾人之故、而仰謁天顏矣。

For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.

而致景仰於耶穌乎？耶穌者、乃吾人信德之金聲玉振也。曩者彼為前途不可思議之神樂、

今基督已至矣、彼乃新興恩寵時代之大司祭也。蓋彼已入閟帷、而成永久贖世之弘業。而其所通過之幕帷、實盡善盡美、非人手所設、亦不屬斯世；一入閟帷、永開生路、萬古暢通；其所攜者、非羔犢之血、乃其自身所流之寶血也。

夫以天上事物之影像、尚須以此等儀式滌而淨之、是知天上事物之本體、宜用更妙之祭獻而聖之矣。

供職於至聖閟帷之內、而此閟帷、乃主所立、非人所建也。

茲耶穌必須歸天、以待萬物復興之時此即自有世以來、天主藉諸聖先知而預言者也。

天主光榮之輝映、天主本體之神表、而以大命亭毒萬物者也。彼既滌除世罪、乃昇天而位於至尊者之右；

主耶穌訓徒既畢、乃蒙接引昇天、坐天主右。

祝時、離眾升天、

予出於父、而入於世、今則離世而復歸於父。』

高尚其事、而不復汲汲於世俗之瑣事也。

蓋此神力、天主實已先施於基督之身、起之於死中、升之於諸天、位之於己右、超軼乎一切爵、權、德、統、諸品天神、及今世來世一切可名之名之上。置天地萬物於其足下、立之為全教會至高無上之元首、

故曰：方其上昇、領回眾俘；普天生靈、恩澤是濡。夫既云上昇、則其先已降入地下可知矣。而彼之所以先降、而後昇於諸天之上者乃欲貫通上下、充塞萬有耳。恩澤所被、或為宗徒。或為先知、或傳福音、或充監牧、師傅、

耶穌已為吾人先入閟帷矣。彼即立為永世靡替之大司祭、與麥基德同一班次者也。

諭畢、即當眾目環視之際、攝引昇天、朵雲接之、杳然不能復瞻。方其昇也、諸徒猶仰天注視、倏有白衣二人、立於其側曰：『加利利人乎、胡為木立而視天、爾曹親見耶穌昇天、來日渠之降臨亦復如是。』

因是凡賴彼而歸天主者、彼常能為其轉求、而拯救之也。嗟夫、有若斯聖善純正、無玷無染、遠絕乎罪人、而超軼乎諸天之上者、作吾人之大司祭、不亦美乎！

前幕乃現世之象徵也。凡現世所獻之禮品祭祀、皆不能使敬禮者之良心、臻於清明純粹之境界。

主之車馬。十萬其強。奚啻十萬。其數無量。大主出征。西乃有光。

又一天神、捧金香爐而來、肅立祭壇之旁、受賜靈香無算、俾與諸聖之祈禱相和、而獻之於座前金壇之上。

主之所陟、誰得而黜之？主之所義、誰得而罪之？

基督今已昇天、位於天主右、一切天神及權德諸品、莫不翕然順服、統於一尊。

實則若輩之所行、不過天上之事之象徵耳。方摩西之建帳幕也、天主諭之曰：『爾其慎旃、一切務須依照山上示爾之法式、而仿造之；』正謂此耳。

耶穌心知門徒嘖有煩言、乃謂之曰：『爾等因是見礙乎？

『吾儕親聞彼言、吾將毀此人手所造之殿、而於三日內另建一所、非人手所造者。』

耶穌應曰：『爾試摧毀斯殿、予將於三日內重建之。』猶太人曰：『此殿歷四十六載始成、爾乃欲以三日重建耶？』顧耶穌所言之殿、乃指其身。
