要有一個潔淨的人拿脣形薄荷蘸在這水中，把水灑在帳棚上、和一切器皿、跟帳棚裏的眾人身上，也灑在觸着骨頭，或觸着被刺死的、或自己死的、或觸着墳墓的人身上。

祭司要把香柏木、脣形薄荷、朱紅色線、丟在燒牛的火中。

也沒有藉着山羊和牛犢的血，乃藉着自己的血、儘一次地進去，就立得了永世的贖放。

照父上帝所豫知、靠靈之聖化、而聽從耶穌基督、受他血灑的。願你們多多蒙恩平安。

又打發以色列人中的青年人去獻上燔祭，並向永恆主獻公牛為平安祭。摩西把一半的血放在盆裏，一半的血潑在祭壇上。又將約書念給人民聽；眾民說：『凡永恆主所說的、我們都要遵行。』摩西將血潑在人民身上說：『看哪，這是盟約的血：這約是永恆主依據這一切話跟你們立的。』摩西上了山，亞倫、拿答、亞比戶、跟以色列長老中的七十人也都上去。他們看見以色列的上帝；上帝腳下彷彿是藍寶石的精巧細工，簡直像上天本境那麼淨朗。他不伸手責罰以色列人中貴顯的人；他們儘管瞻仰上帝，又喫又喝。

他要取公牛的一點兒血，用指頭彈在除罪蓋的東面；他要用指頭把血彈在除罪蓋的前面彈七次。『他要宰那為人民做解罪祭的公山羊，把羊的血帶進帷帳內，用這血行禮，像他用公牛的血行禮一樣，彈血在除罪蓋上面，又彈在除罪蓋前面。因以色列人的不潔淨、和過犯、跟一切的罪、他要為至聖所除罪染；為會棚也要這樣行，因為那是在他們的不潔淨中間、和他們同住的。他進至聖所行除罪禮、為本身和本家以及以色列全體大眾行除罪禮時候，未出來以前，會棚裏都不可有人。他要出來、到永恆主面前的祭壇那裏，為壇除罪染，取公牛的一點兒血、和公山羊的血，抹在祭壇四角上的四圍。

那麼、祭司就要吩咐人為那求斷為潔淨的取兩隻活活而潔淨的鳥、和香柏木、朱紅色線跟脣形薄荷。祭司要吩咐人用瓦器盛活水；把其一隻鳥宰在活水上面。至於那隻活鳥、祭司要取牠，又取香柏木、朱紅色線跟脣形薄荷、將這些物品和那隻活鳥一同蘸於被宰在活水上的鳥的血中；又在那求斷為痲瘋屬之病已得潔淨的人身上灑七次，就斷他為潔淨；再把那隻活鳥放在田野裏。

要給房屋除罪染，他要取兩隻鳥和香柏木、朱紅色線跟脣形薄荷。要用瓦器盛活水，把一隻鳥宰在活水上面；又取香柏木、脣形薄荷、朱紅色線和那隻活鳥、都蘸在被宰的鳥血中與活水中，灑房屋七次。他要用鳥血、用活水活鳥和香柏木、脣形薄荷、朱紅色線、給那房屋除罪染；

『人的供物若是以羊羣中的為平安祭獻與永恆主，無論是公的是母的，他總要供獻一隻完全沒有殘疾的。

並有新約的中保耶穌、以及灑撒之血、比亞伯說得更好的。

『你要告訴以色列人說：你們中間若有人要從牲口中把供物獻與永恆主，就要從牛羣羊羣中帶供物來獻上。『他的供物若是以牛羣中的為燔祭，他就要供獻一隻公的、完全沒有殘疾的，牽到會棚出入處來獻上，好在永恆主面前蒙悅納。

我必用清水灑洗你們，你們就潔淨、沒有任何污穢；我必潔淨你們、除掉你們一切的偶像。

給耶穌脫了衣服，把朱紅軍短褂給他穿上；

『人的供物若是以羊羣中的為燔祭，無論是用綿羊或山羊，他總要供獻一隻公的、完全沒有殘疾的。

給他穿上紫色褂子，編好了荊棘華冠，給他戴上：

士兵用荊棘編作華冠，給戴在他頭上，又給他披上紫色的衣裳。

因為公牛和山羊的血是不能把罪除掉的。

要拿一把脣形薄荷，蘸碗盆裏的血，將碗盆裏的血打在門楣上、和兩邊的門柱上；直到早晨、你們誰也不可出自己的房門口。

戲弄完了，就給他脫了紫色褂子，給他穿上他自己的衣裳；帶他出去，要給釘十字架。

照樣，他也必使許多國的人震驚；君王必因他而閉口驚訝；因為所未曾向他們敘述的、他們必看見；他們所未曾聽見的、他們必明白。

於是耶穌出來到外邊，戴着荊棘華冠，穿着紫色衣裳！彼拉多對他們說：『看哪，這個人！』

求你用牛膝草給我除罪污，我就潔淨；給我洗清，我就比雪更白。
