“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the LORD from the livestock, you may bring your offering from the herd or the flock.“ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male. He will bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he may be accepted by the LORD.

I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.

They stripped him and dressed him in a scarlet robe.

“ But if his offering for a burnt offering is from the flock, from sheep or goats, he is to present an unblemished male.

They dressed him in a purple robe, twisted together a crown of thorns, and put it on him.

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Take a cluster of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and brush the lintel and the two doorposts with some of the blood in the basin. None of you may go out the door of his house until morning.

After they had mocked him, they stripped him of the purple robe and put his clothes on him. They led him out to crucify him.

so he will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of him, for they will see what had not been told them, and they will understand what they had not heard.

Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them,“ Here is the man!”

Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
