就是照著父神的預知蒙揀選，藉著聖靈得成聖潔，因而順服，並且被耶穌基督的血灑過的人。願恩惠平安多多地加給你們。

又派了以色列人中的青年人去獻燔祭，又向耶和華殺牛獻為平安祭。摩西取了一半的血，盛在盆中；又取了另一半的血，灑在祭壇上。他又把約書拿過來，念給人民聽；他們說：“耶和華吩咐的一切話，我們都必遵行和聽從。”摩西就取了血來，灑在人民的身上，說：“看哪，這是立約的血，這約是耶和華按著這一切話與你們立的。”隨後，摩西、亞倫、拿答、亞比戶和以色列長老中的七十人都上了山。他們看見了以色列的神；在神的腳下有好像藍寶石一樣晶瑩的鋪路，好像天色一般明亮。他不伸手攻擊以色列人中的顯貴；他們看見神，並且又吃又喝。

他要取些公牛的血，用指頭彈在施恩座的東面，再用指頭在施恩座的前面，彈血七次。“然後他要宰殺那為人民作贖罪祭的公山羊，把血帶進幔子裡，彈羊血在施恩座的上面和施恩座的前面，好像彈公牛的血一樣。他要為聖所贖罪，使聖所脫離以色列人的不潔和他們的過犯，就是他們的一切罪孽。然後他又要為會幕同樣的贖罪。因為會幕和他們在一起，在他們的不潔中間。他進入至聖所贖罪的時候，會幕裡不可有人；直到他為自己和家人，以及以色列全體會眾，贖了罪出來為止。他出來，就到耶和華面前的祭壇那裡，為壇贖罪。他要取一點公牛的血和山羊的血，抹祭壇的四角。

就要吩咐人為那求潔淨的人，拿兩隻潔淨的活鳥、香柏木、朱紅色線和牛膝草來。祭司要吩咐人用瓦器盛活水，把一隻鳥宰殺在上面。至於那隻活鳥，祭司要把牠與香柏木、朱紅色線和牛膝草一起拿來，把這些物品和活鳥一同蘸於那在活水上宰殺的鳥血中，然後向那患痲風病求潔淨的人身上彈七次，就可以宣布他潔淨；又讓那隻活鳥飛到田野去。

為了潔淨那房屋，祭司要拿兩隻鳥、香柏木、朱紅色線和牛膝草；把一隻鳥，在盛著活水的瓦器上宰殺；然後拿香柏木、牛膝草、朱紅色線和那隻活鳥，都一同蘸在被宰殺的鳥血和活水中，向房屋彈七次。他就用鳥血、活水、活鳥、香柏木、牛膝草和朱紅色線，潔淨了那房屋；

人若是獻羊作平安祭的供物給耶和華，必須獻一隻沒有殘疾的公羊或母羊。

有新約的中保耶穌，還有他所灑的血。這血所傳的信息比亞伯的血所傳的更美。

“你要告訴以色列人說：如果你們中間有人把供物獻給耶和華，就要從牛群羊群中獻家畜為供物。他的供物若是獻牛作燔祭，就要把一頭沒有殘疾的公牛，牽到會幕門口，就可以在耶和華面前蒙悅納。

我必用潔淨的水灑在你們身上，你們就潔淨了；我必潔淨你們的一切污穢，使你們遠離所有可憎的像。

他們脫去他的衣服，給他披上朱紅色的外袍，

“人的供物若是獻羊作燔祭，不論是綿羊或是山羊，總要獻一隻沒有殘疾的公羊。

他們給他披上紫色的外袍，又用荊棘編成冠冕給他戴上；

士兵用荊棘編成冠冕，戴在他的頭上，又給他披上紫色的外袍，

因為公牛和山羊的血不能把罪除去。

要拿一把牛膝草，蘸在盆中的血裡，然後把盆裡的血塗在門楣上和兩邊的門柱上；你們誰也不可出自己的房門，直到早晨。

他們戲弄完了，就把他的紫色的外袍脫下，給他穿回自己的衣服，帶他出去，要釘十字架。

照樣，他也必使多國的人驚異（按照《馬索拉文本》，“他也必使多國的人驚異”作“他必灑許多國的民”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），君王要因他閉口不言，因為從未向他們述說過的事，他們必看見；他們從未聽過的，他們要明白。

於是耶穌出來，戴著荊棘的冠冕，披著紫色的外袍。彼拉多對他們說：“看，這個人！”

求你用牛膝草潔淨我，我就乾淨；求你洗淨我，我就比雪更白。
