緣此、彼為新約之中保、已死而贖前約時所犯之罪、使蒙召者得所許之永福、福原文作業

且其所以為新約之仲介者、亦欲以一己之死、贖人於舊約下所犯之眾罪、而令蒙召者得承受所許之永遠基業耳。

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance— now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

我們知道，萬事都互相效力，叫愛上帝的人得益處，就是按他旨意被召的人。

如今卻蒙上帝的恩典，藉着在基督耶穌裏的救贖，就白白地得稱為義。上帝設立耶穌作贖罪祭，是憑耶穌的血，藉着信，要顯明上帝的義；因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先前所犯的罪，好使今時顯明他的義，讓人知道他自己為義，也稱信耶穌的人為義。

他不用山羊和牛犢的血，而是用自己的血，只一次進入至聖所就獲得了永遠的贖罪。

你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了上帝的旨意，可以獲得所應許的。

因為只有一位上帝，在上帝和人之間也只有一位中保，是成為人的基督耶穌。

並新約的中保耶穌，以及所灑的血；這血所說的信息比亞伯的血所說的更美。

既是起誓立的，耶穌也作了更美之約的中保。

我們還軟弱的時候，基督就在特定的時刻為不敬虔之人死。

同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，要思想我們所宣認為使者、為大祭司的耶穌；

這些人都是因信獲得了讚許，卻仍未得着所應許的，因為上帝給我們預備了更美好的事，若沒有我們，他們就不能達到完全。

既然兒女同有血肉之軀，他也照樣親自成了血肉之軀，為能藉着死敗壞那掌管死權的，就是魔鬼，

同樣，基督既然一次獻上，擔當了許多人的罪，將來要第二次顯現，與罪無關，而是為了拯救熱切等候他的人。

當初上帝應許亞伯拉罕的時候，因為沒有比自己更大的可以指着起誓，就指着自己起誓，

他們唱新歌，說：「你配拿書卷，配揭開它的七印；因為你曾被殺，用自己的血從各支派、各語言、各民族、各邦國中買了人來，使他們歸於上帝，

因為基督也曾一次為罪受苦，就是義的代替不義的，為要引領你們到上帝面前。在肉體裏，他被治死；但在靈裏，他復活了。

但願賜平安的上帝，就是那憑永約之血，把羣羊的大牧人－我們主耶穌從死人中領出來的上帝，

好讓我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑着永生的盼望成為後嗣。

那賜一切恩典的上帝曾在基督裏召了你們，得享他永遠的榮耀，在你們暫受苦難之後，必要親自成全你們，堅固你們，賜力量給你們，建立你們。

這真理是在盼望那無謊言的上帝在萬古之先所應許的永生，

既然上帝提到「新的約」，那麼第一個約就成為舊的了；而那漸舊漸衰的必然很快消逝了。原來連第一個約都有敬拜的禮儀和屬世界的聖幕。

凡為我的名撇下房屋，或是兄弟、姊妹、父親、母親、兒女、田地的，將得着百倍，並且承受永生。

忍受試煉的人有福了，因為他經過考驗以後必得生命的冠冕，這是主應許給愛他之人的。

所以，我為了選民事事忍耐，為使他們也能得到那在基督耶穌裏的救恩和永遠的榮耀。

如今耶穌已經得了更優越的事奉，正如他作更美之約的中保；這約原是憑更美之應許立的。第一個約若沒有瑕疵，就無須尋求第二個約了。所以上帝指責他們說：「主說，看哪，日子將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新的約；

為此，上帝藉着我們所傳的福音呼召你們，好得着我們主耶穌基督的榮光。

他們在寶座前，和在四活物及眾長老前唱新歌，除了從地上買來的那十四萬四千人以外，沒有人能學這歌。這些人未曾沾染婦女，他們原是童身。羔羊無論往哪裏去，他們都跟隨他。他們是從人間買來的，作為初熟的果子歸給上帝和羔羊。

因為罪的工價乃是死；惟有上帝的恩賜，在我們的主基督耶穌裏，乃是永生。

這些人都是存着信心死的，並沒有得着所應許的，卻從遠處觀望，且歡喜迎接。他們承認自己在地上是客旅，是寄居的。

基督所應許我們的就是永生。

並且，我賜給他們永生；他們永不滅亡，誰也不能從我手裏把他們奪去。

願頌讚歸於我們主耶穌基督的父上帝！他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉着耶穌基督從死人中復活，重生了我們，使我們有活的盼望，好得到不朽壞、不玷污、不衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業，

因為我們作仇敵的時候，尚且藉着上帝兒子的死得以與上帝和好，既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。

過了六十二個七，那受膏者被剪除，一無所有；必有一王的百姓來毀滅這城和聖所，它的結局必如洪水沖沒。必有戰爭，一直到末了，荒涼的事已經定了。

我赤身露體，你們給我穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監獄裏，你們來看我。』

有一個官問耶穌說：「善良的老師，我該做甚麼事才能承受永生？」

於是王要向他右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國。

耶穌剛上路的時候，有一個人跑來，跪在他面前，問他：「善良的老師，我該做甚麼事才能承受永生？」

他使我們能配作新約的執事，不是文字上的約，而是聖靈的約；因為文字使人死，聖靈能使人活。

這器皿也就是我們這些蒙上帝所召的，不但是從猶太人中，也是從外邦人中召來的。

耶和華知道完全人的日子，他們的產業要存到永遠。

我們藉着這愛子的血得蒙救贖，過犯得以赦免，這是照他豐富的恩典，

惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，上帝的愛就在此向我們顯明了。

耶和華的旨意要壓傷他，使他受苦。當他的生命作為贖罪祭時，他必看見後裔，他的年日必然長久。耶和華所喜悅的事，必在他手中亨通。因自己的勞苦，他必看見光就心滿意足。因自己的認識，我的義僕使許多人得稱為義，他要擔當他們的罪孽。因此，我要使他與位大的同份，與強盛的均分擄物。因為他傾倒自己的生命，以至於死，也列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪，為他們的過犯代求。

凡有遺囑，必須證實立遺囑的人已經死了。
