How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

But Christ offered himself to God without any flaw. He did this through the power of the eternal Holy Spirit. So how much cleaner will the blood of Christ make us! It washes away our feelings of guilt for committing sin. Sin always leads to death. But now we can serve the living God.

Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption[ for us].

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Who being the brightness of[ his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

That he no longer should live the rest of[ his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

And from Jesus Christ,[ who is] the faithful witness,[ and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Neither yield ye your members[ as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members[ as] instruments of righteousness unto God.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

But the LORD[ is] the true God, he[ is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Now if the fall of them[ be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure[ unto him].

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,( by grace ye are saved;)

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in[ them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he[ is] the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom[ that] which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion[ shall be even] unto the end.

[ But] whatsoever hath a blemish,[ that] shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,[ even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural[ branches], be graffed into their own olive tree?

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

For he hath made him[ to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The Spirit of the Lord[ is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

The eternal God[ is thy] refuge, and underneath[ are] the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy[ them].

And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

Which[ was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped,[ leaning] upon the top of his staff.

And if there be[ any] blemish therein,[ as if it be] lame, or blind,[ or have] any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.

If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more[ will he clothe] you, O ye of little faith?

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

But into the second[ went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and[ for] the errors of the people:

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name[ is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy[ place], with him also[ that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.Know therefore and understand,[ that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince[ shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof[ shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

This[ is] the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein[ is] no blemish,[ and] upon which never came yoke:And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and[ one] shall slay her before his face:And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:And[ one] shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast[ it] into the midst of the burning of the heifer.Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.And a man[ that is] clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay[ them] up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it[ is] a purification for sin.And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness[ is] yet upon him.This[ is] the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that[ is] in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it,[ is] unclean.And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.And for an unclean[ person] they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip[ it] in the water, and sprinkle[ it] upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:And the clean[ person] shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he[ is] unclean.And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God,[ be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God[ any] bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish,[ or] any evilfavouredness: for that[ is] an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who[ is] this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?

For who[ is there of] all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we[ have], and lived?

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,[ in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour[ for] a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither[ was any] deceit in his mouth.

And thou shalt say unto them, This[ is] the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day,[ for] a continual burnt offering.

How much more abominable and filthy[ is] man, which drinketh iniquity like water?

The Spirit of the Lord GOD[ is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to[ them that are] bound;

And declared[ to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
