應知爾等之得脫於習俗之羈絆其贖價非屬可朽之金銀、乃為基督之寶血。基督乃無玷無染之羔羊！

且其所以為新約之仲介者、亦欲以一己之死、贖人於舊約下所犯之眾罪、而令蒙召者得承受所許之永遠基業耳。

蓋基督所入者、非一人手所倣造之聖所；彼實已直達天廷、且為吾人之故、而仰謁天顏矣。彼亦無須迭次自獻、如通常大司祭之必須歲攜不屬自身之血、以進閟帷也。不然、創世以來基督之受苦難、將不勝其頻繁矣。實則在茲季世，基督方始降世、自作一勞永逸之祭獻、以除免世罪耳。

迨其純全無缺、乃成永救之源、俾凡歸順之者、咸得被澤而獲濟焉。

與真實無妄之見證、死者中最先復活、而統治世間萬王者、耶穌基督、降爾聖寵、錫爾平安、

一般大司祭必須逐日為己為人、獻贖罪之祭；至耶穌則己既無罪可贖即眾人之罪、彼亦已獻身以為之贖、一勞而永逸矣。

夫以山羊牡牛之血、與夫牝牛之灰、灑於汙染之人、尚能潔其身而聖之；

夫基督已代我受詛、而贖我於律法之詛矣。蓋經有云：『懸於木上者、服咒咀』也。此亦所以使亞伯漢之福澤、藉基督耶穌之身、而普被萬民、俾吾人得因信德而領受所許之聖神也。

故基督既一度為除眾人之罪而捨生、亦將為其信徒重臨於世、非再贖罪、乃為之超渡也。

以待其聖子耶穌之臨格。聖子者、即天主所起於死者之中、而令吾人免於將臨之譴怒者也。

惟誹謗聖神者、罪在不赦、必嬰永罰。』

爾其戰戰兢兢、保身保群；斯群也、即主以其寶血贖得之教會、而聖神之所以立爾為主教、以資督導也。

兄弟乎、吾人茲得藉耶穌之寶血、遵其為吾人開闢之路、而自由進入閟幄矣。

愛子者、即吾人所賴以蒙贖、恃以脫罪者也。

天主光榮之輝映、天主本體之神表、而以大命亭毒萬物者也。彼既滌除世罪、乃昇天而位於至尊者之右；

惟大司祭一年一度得入閟帷、入必獻牲牷之血、用贖自身及眾民之罪過。

基督為吾人自舍其身、正欲拯贖吾人、脫免一切罪惡、加以洗滌、俾得充其子民、發憤為善云耳。
