律法為後福之影、而實非其形、故不能以歲一獻祭、使來者得贖罪、

我知此身、猶土室帷幕、雖壞、然有上帝經營、非手所作之室、悠久於天、

夫造宇宙萬物之上帝、乃天地主、不居手造之殿、不為人手所事、亦不需一物、乃以生命呼吸萬物予眾、

欲致潔法天之幕、必當用此式、則天幕尤當用善祭、人手所作之聖所、即彷佛真幕模範、基督不之入、乃升於天、立上帝前以佑我、

吾儕嘗聞其言云、此殿乃人所作、我將毀之、三日又建一殿、非人所作者、

余前所論之大要、乃言吾有如此之祭司長、於天坐至大者之位之右、為執事於主所設真幕之聖所、非人所設、

故當凡事同於兄弟、為矜恤忠信之祭司長、以事上帝、而贖民罪、

然手造之殿、至上者弗居、如先知所云、

夫道成人身、居於我儕之間、我儕見其榮、誠天父獨生子之榮、以恩寵真理而滿也、○

婦曰、我知彌賽亞將至、其至必以眾理告我、彌賽亞、蓋言基督也、

前約有崇事之例、暨征世之聖所、蓋有前幕稱聖所、以藏燈臺几案、及陳設之餅、內幔後、又有幕、稱至聖所、有炷香金鼎、嵌金約匱、內藏嗎嗱、盛以金壺、與亞倫萌芽杖、約碑二、匱上有施恩之所、華煥𠼻𡀔［口氷］覆翼之、今論此、毋庸瑣屑以言、器物既備、諸祭司屢入前幕、以行其事、惟祭司長、為己過及民愆、歲一入內幕、獻血、聖神示我、前約尚存、入聖所之途未明、自古及今、此約為表式、當時、人獻禮物祭祀、皆不能造於大成、

蓋吾之祭司長、能體恤吾荏弱、彼於凡事、歷試諸艱、亦如我然、惟未罹於罪、

麥基洗德撒冷王也、為至高上帝之祭司、昔遇亞伯拉罕、戰敗諸王旋、而為之祝嘏、

昔民受律例時、利未子孫任祭司職、若人賴此、罔有缺乏、則毋庸別設一祭司、依麥基洗德班聯、不依亞倫班聯、祭司職既易、律例必易、吾所言之人、乃屬他族、從無供役祭壇者、蓋摩西未嘗以祭司職諭猶大、吾主由猶大出、則祭司職之易、不彰彰明乎、依麥基洗德之職、別設祭司、非遵變易之法、乃遵永存之命、蓋上帝曰、爾永為祭司、依麥基洗德班聯、故祭司職之易又愈明矣、夫舊法無益、罔有功效、則遂廢弛、律法未臻於大成、更創新法、使我愈能望福、近上帝前、屬利未者、雖立為祭司、而不以誓惟耶穌之立、為上帝所誓、經云、主誓不改、爾永為祭司、依麥基洗德班聯、
