顧天主嘗責先人曰：『主曰：「時將至、爾其拭目視！吾與義塞及猶太、亟欲訂立新盟約。

But God found fault with the people and said:“ The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

But showing its fault, God says to them,“ Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

For finding fault with them, he said,“ Behold, the days come”, says the Lord,“ that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;

“看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），我要与以色列家和犹大家订立新的约。这新约不像从前我拉他们祖先的手，领他们出埃及地的日子，与他们所立的约；我虽然是他们的丈夫，他们却违背了我的约。”这是耶和华的宣告。“但那些日子以后，我要与以色列家所立的约是这样（这是耶和华的宣告）：我要把我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们的心里。我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。他们各人必不再教导自己的邻舍和自己的同胞，说：‘你们要认识耶和华。’因为所有的人，从最小到最大的都必认识我。我也要赦免他们的罪孽，不再记着他们的罪恶。”这是耶和华的宣告。

有新约的中保耶稣，还有他所洒的血。这血所传的信息比亚伯的血所传的更美。

他使我们有资格作新约的仆役，这新约不是从仪文来的，而是从圣灵来的；因为仪文会使人死，而圣灵却使人活。

我要和他们立永远的约，我必不离开他们，必使他们得到福乐；我也必把敬畏我的心赐给他们，使他们不会离开我。

“主说：‘在那些日子以后，我要与他们所立的约是这样：我要把我的律法放在他们的心思里面，写在他们的心上。’”又说：“我决不再记着他们的罪恶，和不法的行为。”

“‘但我仍要记念在你年幼的时候与你所立的约，也要与你坚立永远的约。你接纳你姊姊和你妹妹回来的时候，你就会想起你所行的，并要自觉惭愧；我要把她们赐给你作女儿，但这并不是出于我与你所立的约。

饭后，照样拿起杯来，说：“这杯是用我的血所立的新约，你们每逢喝的时候，应当这样行，为的是记念我。”

因此，他作了新约的中保，藉着他的死，使人在前约之下的过犯得到救赎，就叫那些蒙召的人，得着永远基业的应许。

他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们渴望看见人子的一个日子，却见不到。

耶稣说：“这是我的血，是为立约的，为许多人流出来的。

我要与他们立平安的约，是一个永远的约；我必坚立他们，使他们人数增多，又在他们中间设立我的圣所，直到永远。

这是我的血，是为立约的，为许多人流出来，使罪得赦。

“你没有留意列国的人民说什么吗？他们说：‘耶和华所拣选的这两个家族，他已经弃绝了。’他们藐视我的子民，不再把他们看为一个国家。耶和华这样说：‘我若没有设立白昼和黑夜的约，或立定天地的定律，我就会弃绝雅各的后裔，和我仆人大卫的后裔，不从大卫的后裔中选人出来统治亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的后裔。我却必使他们被掳的人归回，也必怜悯他们。’”

“看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），我必使以色列家和犹大家人口和牲畜繁衍。

“看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），我必给大卫兴起一个公义的苗裔；他必执政为王，行事有智慧，在地上施行公正和公义。

看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），我必使我的子民以色列和犹大被掳的人归回。’耶和华说：‘我必使他们回到我赐给他们列祖之地，他们要重得这地为业。’”

“因此，看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），人不再指着那领以色列人从埃及地上来的永活的耶和华起誓，

你们要侧耳而听，要到我这里来；你们要听，就可以存活；我必与你们立永远的约，就是应许赐给大卫的那确实的慈爱。

“看哪！日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告），这城从哈楠业城楼直到角门，必为耶和华重建起来。
