利未子孫之得祭司職者、雖與民皆為亞伯拉罕之裔、同為兄弟、仍奉律法之命、以民之物、什取其一、

利未子孫之任司祭者、依例什一以取於兄弟；其兄弟乃亞伯漢之後裔耳。

Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people— that is, from their fellow Israelites— even though they also are descended from Abraham.

Now the law lays down a rule for the sons of Levi who become priests. They must collect a tenth from the people. They must collect it from the other Israelites. They must do this, even though all of them belong to the family line of Abraham.

And those descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office have a commandment in the law to take tithes from the people, that is, from their brothers, though these also are descended from Abraham.

Now the law of Moses required that the priests, who are descendants of Levi, must collect a tithe from the rest of the people of Israel, who are also descendants of Abraham.

The sons of Levi who receive the priestly office have a command according to the law to collect a tenth from the people— that is, from their brothers and sisters— though they have also descended from Abraham.

And those indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment in the Law to collect a tenth from the people, that is, from their countrymen, although they are descended from Abraham.

And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham;

And they indeed of the sons of Levi that receive the priest’s office have commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though these have come out of the loins of Abraham:

The sons of Levi who receive the priestly office have a command according to the law to collect a tenth from the people— that is, from their brothers— though they have also descended from Abraham.

And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

And those of the sons of Levi who receive the priestly office have authorization according to the law to collect a tithe from the people, that is, from their fellow countrymen, although they too are descendants of Abraham.

They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham,

然爾不可建室、惟爾所生之子、將為我名建室、

宜自以色列族中、引爾兄亞倫、及其子拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪、進於爾前、立為祭司、以奉事我、

蓋麥基洗德遇亞伯拉罕時、利未尚在其先祖之身、○

我亦知利未人所當得者未給之、供役之利未人、及謳歌者、逃歸其田畝、

且無人自取此尊、惟蒙召於上帝、如亞倫者、

凡由雅各而出者、共七十人、約瑟已在埃及、

既使爾及兄弟利未裔、近於其前、爾猶覬覦祭司之職乎、爾及爾黨之集、乃攻耶和華、亞倫何人、致爾怨之、

又曰、我乃全能之上帝、爾其蕃息昌熾、一族眾族由爾而生、多王由爾而出、

爾及子孫、宜守祭司之職、壇前㡘內、供其役事、我以祭司之職畀爾、外人近前、必致之死、○

且命耶路撒冷居民、給祭司與利未人所應得者、俾其專心於耶和華之律、王諭一出、以色列人輸以穀酒油蜜、及田所產初實甚多、更獻諸物之什一甚盛、居猶大諸邑之以色列人、與猶大人、亦攜牛羊、及區別歸其上帝耶和華之物、獻其什一、積之成堆、

凡土所產、無論地之穀、樹之果、什一歸諸耶和華、是為聖物、所應輸之什一、人欲贖之、必加五分之一、牛羊過於杖下者、必以什一歸諸耶和華為聖、或美或惡、毋庸察、亦毋庸易、如其易之、則二者俱為聖、不得復贖、

我於以色列族之土產、什取其一、以錫利未人、為其供役會幕之值、自是以後、以色列族不可近會幕、免其負罪而死、利未人供役於會幕、如有干犯、必負其罪、著為永例、歷世弗替、於以色列族中、不得業產、以色列人什輸其一、獻於耶和華為舉祭者、我賜於利未人為業、故曰、彼不得業於以色列中也、○耶和華諭摩西曰、告利未人云、爾得以色列族所輸之什一、我所錫爾為業者、必於其中、復取什一、以為舉祭、獻於耶和華、爾之舉祭、視為爾曹禾場之穀、酒醡之汁、爾自以色列族所得之什一、當復取其什一、獻於耶和華、使獻耶和華之舉祭、歸祭司亞倫、所得禮物、必取其嘉者、區別為聖、獻於耶和華為舉祭、宜命利未人曰、既舉而獻其嘉者、必視為禾場酒醡之所出、爾與眷屬、隨在可食、蓋爾供役於會幕、得此為值、既舉而獻其嘉者、則不負罪、勿瀆以色列之聖物、免致死亡、

凡雅各所出、同至埃及者、共六十六人、子婦不與焉、

亞倫名書於利未族之杖、牧伯各有其杖、以杖置於會幕法匱前、我所蒞臨之處、我所簡者、其杖必萌芽、使以色列族怨爾之言息焉、摩西以此言告以色列人、諸牧伯各付其杖、循其宗族、計十有二、亞倫之杖在其中、摩西置諸法幕、在耶和華前、翌日、摩西入法幕、見亞倫之杖、屬利未族者、萌芽舒蕊、結杏已稔、摩西取杖於耶和華前、攜至以色列眾、彼既觀之、各取其杖、耶和華諭摩西曰、反亞倫杖於法匱前、存之為誌、使此叛逆之輩、息怨於我、免其隕沒、
