Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him.

If only I knew where to find God, I would go to his court.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other.

Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in his great strength?“ It is I, the Lord, announcing your salvation! It is I, the Lord, who has the power to save!”

For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf.

Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.

Jesus became a priest, not by meeting the physical requirement of belonging to the tribe of Levi, but by the power of a life that cannot be destroyed.

“ My wayward children,” says the Lord,“ come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.”“ Yes, we’re coming,” the people reply,“ for you are the Lord our God.

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty.

That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.

Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.

He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

The people will declare,“ The Lord is the source of all my righteousness and strength.” And all who were angry with him will come to him and be ashamed.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.

And the Father who sent me has testified about me himself. You have never heard his voice or seen him face to face,and you do not have his message in your hearts, because you do not believe me— the one he sent to you.“ You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.

“ My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you.All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory.Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are.During my time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me. I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold.“ Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy.I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.They do not belong to this world any more than I do.Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.“ I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one— as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. When he got there, he called out in anguish,“ Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?”

for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.The Father and I are one.”

Then another angel with a gold incense burner came and stood at the altar. And a great amount of incense was given to him to mix with the prayers of God’s people as an offering on the gold altar before the throne.The smoke of the incense, mixed with the prayers of God’s holy people, ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out.

In view of all your faithful mercies, Lord, please turn your furious anger away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. All the neighboring nations mock Jerusalem and your people because of our sins and the sins of our ancestors.

But because Jesus lives forever, his priesthood lasts forever.

Therefore, I make this decree: If any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be turned into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this!”

I will give you one more chance to bow down and worship the statue I have made when you hear the sound of the musical instruments. But if you refuse, you will be thrown immediately into the blazing furnace. And then what god will be able to rescue you from my power?”
