So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

是以凡賴耶穌而至天主前者、耶穌能全救之、蓋彼恆存、為之祈禱、○

因是凡賴彼而歸天主者、彼常能為其轉求、而拯救之也。

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

People now come to God through him. And he is able to save them completely and for all time. Jesus lives forever. He prays for them.

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.

Jesus replied,“ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,

through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.

so that through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

So I will assign him a portion with the multitudes, he will divide the spoils of victory with the powerful, because he willingly submitted to death and was numbered with the rebels, when he lifted up the sin of many and intervened on behalf of the rebels.”

for the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

He sees there is no advocate; he is shocked that no one intervenes. So he takes matters into his own hands; his desire for justice drives him on.

O that I knew where I might find him, that I could come to his place of residence!

Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,

Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

Who is this who comes from Edom, dressed in bright red, coming from Bozrah? Who is this one wearing royal attire, who marches confidently because of his great strength?“ It is I, the one who announces vindication, and who is able to deliver!”

For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands– the representation of the true sanctuary– but into heaven itself, and he appears now in God’s presence for us.

Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, acknowledging his name.

During his earthly life Christ offered both requests and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death and he was heard because of his devotion.

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

who has become a priest not by a legal regulation about physical descent but by the power of an indestructible life.

Come back to me, you wayward people. I want to cure your waywardness. Say,‘ Here we are. We come to you because you are the LORD our God.

If our God whom we are serving exists, he is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and he will rescue us, O king, from your power as well.

Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.

For since he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

who will transform these humble bodies of ours into the likeness of his glorious body by means of that power by which he is able to subject all things to himself.

At that time you will ask me nothing. I tell you the solemn truth, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it, so that your joy may be complete.

they will say about me,“ Yes, the LORD is a powerful deliverer.”’” All who are angry at him will cower before him.

Then I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever–

in whom we have boldness and confident access to God because of Christ’s faithfulness.

And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time,nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me,but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you.Everything I have belongs to you, and everything you have belongs to me, and I have been glorified by them.I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that you have given me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled.But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience my joy completed in themselves.I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safe from the evil one.They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world.Set them apart in the truth; your word is truth.Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world.And I set myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart.“ I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony,that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. As he approached the den, he called out to Daniel in a worried voice,“ Daniel, servant of the living God, was your God whom you continually serve able to rescue you from the lions?”

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.The Father and I are one.”

Another angel holding a golden censer came and was stationed at the altar. A large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.The smoke coming from the incense, along with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

O Lord, according to all your justice, please turn your raging anger away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. For due to our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors, Jerusalem and your people are mocked by all our neighbors.

Now if you are ready, when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, trigon, harp, pipes, and all kinds of music, you must bow down and pay homage to the statue that I had made. If you don’t pay homage to it, you will immediately be thrown into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. Now, who is that god who can rescue you from my power?”

and in one case tithes are received by mortal men, while in the other by him who is affirmed to be alive.

They were saying to God,‘ Turn away from us,’ and‘ What can the Almighty do to us?’
