For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it and produces a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;

譬如土壤、時雨潤之、百物生之、農夫利之、上帝培之、

譬諸地土、屢得雨潤而生百物、供耕者之用、則天主必降福於斯地、

譬如地土、甘霖時降、飽受滋潤、而產百穀、有益於耕耘之人、則天主福焉。

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring:

Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap according to kindness. Break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek Yahweh, until he comes and rains righteousness on you.

They give drink to every animal of the field. The wild donkeys quench their thirst.The birds of the sky nest by them. They sing among the branches.He waters the mountains from his rooms. The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.

Land, don’t be afraid. Be glad and rejoice, for Yahweh has done great things.Don’t be afraid, you animals of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness spring up, for the tree bears its fruit. The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.“ Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahweh, your God; for he gives you the early rain in just measure, and he causes the rain to come down for you, the early rain and the latter rain, as before.The threshing floors will be full of wheat, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed.

You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.

Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.

For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater;so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up. It will make a name for Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”

He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

He came near, and kissed him. He smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said,“ Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which Yahweh has blessed.

I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.

then I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bear fruit for the three years.
