When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God’s blessing.

就如一块田地，吃过屡次下的雨水，生长菜蔬，合乎耕种的人用，就从神得福；

就如一块田地吸收过屡次下的雨水，生长蔬菜，合乎耕种的人用，就从上帝得福。

一块经常受到雨水滋润的田地若为耕种的人长出庄稼来，就蒙上帝赐福；

这就像一块地，吸收了常常下在它上面的雨水，如果长出对种植的人有用的菜蔬，就从神那里得福。

要知道，当一块田地吸收了常常降在它上面的雨水，并且为种地的人长出有用菜蔬时，它就享受从神而来的祝福；

田地吸收屢次下在地上的雨水，產生着青菜、對地之所為而被耕種的人有了用處，就從上帝享受祝福；

要知道，當一塊田地吸收了常常降在它上面的雨水，並且為種地的人長出有用菜蔬時，它就享受從神而來的祝福；

蓋地既霑屢降之雨、而生百蔬、適耕者之用、則受祝於上帝、

譬如土壤、時雨潤之、百物生之、農夫利之、上帝培之、

譬諸地土、屢得雨潤而生百物、供耕者之用、則天主必降福於斯地、

譬如地土、甘霖時降、飽受滋潤、而產百穀、有益於耕耘之人、則天主福焉。

Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.

Some land drinks the rain that falls on it. It produces a crop that is useful to those who farm the land. That land receives God’s blessing.

For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God.

For the ground that drinks the rain that often falls on it and that produces vegetation useful to those for whom it is cultivated receives a blessing from God.

For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God;

For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;

For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:

For ground that has drunk the rain that has often fallen on it and that produces vegetation useful to those it is cultivated for receives a blessing from God.

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

For the ground that has soaked up the rain that frequently falls on it and yields useful vegetation for those who tend it receives a blessing from God.

For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it and produces a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;

For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children.

Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.

I said,‘ Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’

They provide water for all the animals, and the wild donkeys quench their thirst.The birds nest beside the streams and sing among the branches of the trees.You send rain on the mountains from your heavenly home, and you fill the earth with the fruit of your labor.

Don’t be afraid, O land. Be glad now and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things.Don’t be afraid, you animals of the field, for the wilderness pastures will soon be green. The trees will again be filled with fruit; fig trees and grapevines will be loaded down once more.Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring.The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain, and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil.The Lord says,“ I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced.

You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops.You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy.The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!

“ The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops.The Lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.

“ The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”

They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior.

So Jacob went over and kissed him. And when Isaac caught the smell of his clothes, he was finally convinced, and he blessed his son. He said,“ Ah! The smell of my son is like the smell of the outdoors, which the Lord has blessed!

I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing.

They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Be assured that I will send my blessing for you in the sixth year, so the land will produce a crop large enough for three years.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,“ I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!
