For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God.

就如一块田地，吃过屡次下的雨水，生长菜蔬，合乎耕种的人用，就从神得福；

要知道，當一塊田地吸收了常常降在它上面的雨水，並且為種地的人長出有用菜蔬時，它就享受從神而來的祝福；

蓋地既霑屢降之雨、而生百蔬、適耕者之用、則受祝於上帝、

譬如土壤、時雨潤之、百物生之、農夫利之、上帝培之、

譬諸地土、屢得雨潤而生百物、供耕者之用、則天主必降福於斯地、

譬如地土、甘霖時降、飽受滋潤、而產百穀、有益於耕耘之人、則天主福焉。

Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.

Some land drinks the rain that falls on it. It produces a crop that is useful to those who farm the land. That land receives God’s blessing.

When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God’s blessing.

For the ground that drinks the rain that often falls on it and that produces vegetation useful to those for whom it is cultivated receives a blessing from God.

For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God;

For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;

For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:

For ground that has drunk the rain that has often fallen on it and that produces vegetation useful to those it is cultivated for receives a blessing from God.

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.

Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.

they give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell; they sing among the branches.From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.

“ Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things!Fear not, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and vine give their full yield.“ Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before.“ The threshing floors shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.“ You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame.

You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth.You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.

And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

“ For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.“ For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

So he came near and kissed him. And Isaac smelled the smell of his garments and blessed him and said,“ See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed!

And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.

He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, so that it will produce a crop sufficient for three years.

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
