and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

并尝过神善道的滋味、觉悟来世权能的人，

尝过上帝之道的甘美，领悟到永世的权能，

并且尝过神美善的道和来世的权能的人，

尝过神美善的话语和将要来临之世代的权能，

嚐過上帝之道的甘美，領悟到永世的權能，

嘗過上帝之話語多麼美好，又嘗過來世之能力，

嘗過神美善的話語和將要來臨之世代的權能，

且承上帝嘉言、及來世之權能、

知上帝至理、季世有妙用、

嘗天主善道之味、又覺悟來世之權能、

曾悟天主聖道之盡善盡美、與夫新興時代之偉大、

who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age

They have tasted the good things of God’s word. They have tasted the powers of the age to come.

who tasted God’s good word and the powers of the coming age,

if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels.

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.

But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
