For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.

爾曹為天主名勤勞而施仁愛、素供事聖徒、今仍供事之、天主非不義、必不忘爾之工、

何則、天主不負有心人、對於爾等之工作、爾等之敬愛聖名、供養聖徒、至今未懈、天主必不致忘懷也。

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

God is fair. He will not forget what you have done. He will remember the love you have shown him. You showed it when you helped his people. And you show it when you keep on helping them.

For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

constantly keeping in mind your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,

One who oppresses the poor taunts his Maker, But one who is gracious to the needy honors Him.

Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

And he looked at him intently and became terrified, and said,“ What is it, lord?” And he said to him,“ Your prayers and charitable gifts have ascended as a memorial offering before God.

For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints;and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for the sake of Christ.For I have had great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

but when he was in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me—the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on that day— and you know very well what services he rendered at Ephesus.

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food,and one of you says to them,“ Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the salesand lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each to the extent that any had need.

And all the believers were together and had all things in common;and they would sell their property and possessions and share them with all, to the extent that anyone had need.

you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.Everyone who hates his brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

And to the extent that any of the disciples had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brothers and sisters living in Judea.

for even in Thessalonica you sent a gift more than once for my needs.Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek the profit which increases to your account.But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

Now, brothers and sisters, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia,that in a great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the wealth of their liberality.For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave voluntarily,begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.So we urged Titus that as he had previously made a beginning, so he would also complete in you this gracious work as well.But just as you excel in everything, in faith, speaking, knowledge, and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, see that you also excel in this gracious work.I am not saying this as a command, but as proving, through the earnestness of others, the sincerity of your love as well.For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you are to do as well.On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save as he may prosper, so that no collections need to be made when I come.When I arrive, whomever you approve, I will send them with letters to take your gift to Jerusalem;

and he* said,‘ Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your charitable gifts have been remembered before God.

One who is gracious to a poor person lends to the Lord, And He will repay him for his good deed.

Remember me, my God, for good, in return for all that I have done for this people.

Should good be repaid with evil? For they have dug a pit for me. Remember how I stood before You To speak good in their behalf, So as to turn Your wrath away from them.

but now, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.For they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to do them a service also in material things.

in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

May He remember all your meal offerings And accept your burnt offering! Selah

For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha( which when translated means Dorcas); this woman was excelling in acts of kindness and charity which she did habitually.But it happened at that time that she became sick and died; and when they had washed her body, they laid it in an upstairs room.Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him,“ Do not delay in coming to us.”So Peter got ready and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the room upstairs; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.

For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels

Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant.It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered,it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And I ordered the Levites that they were to purify themselves and come as gatekeepers to sanctify the Sabbath day. For this also remember me, my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Your mercy.

and I arranged for the delivery of wood at appointed times and for the first fruits. Remember me, my God, for good.

The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ I remember regarding you the devotion of your youth, Your love when you were a bride, Your following after Me in the wilderness, Through a land not sown.Israel was holy to the Lord, The first of His harvest. All who ate of it became guilty; Evil came upon them,” declares the Lord.’ ”

Far from it! Rather, God must prove to be true, though every person be found a liar, as it is written:“ So that You are justified in Your words, And prevail when You are judged.”But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He?( I am speaking from a human viewpoint.)

Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
