And this I pray, that your love may overflow still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,so that you may discover the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ;

Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.

So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil. For who is capable of judging this great people of Yours?”

Therefore, all who are mature, let’s have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that to you as well;

For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God, knowing good and evil.”

For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to rein in the whole body as well.

Does the ear not put words to the test, As the palate tastes its food?

“ Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, So is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.

Therefore you shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Is there injustice on my tongue? Does my palate not discern disasters?

For the ear tests words As the palate tastes food.
