信未篤者宜納之、非為辯疑也、

誰能鞫此眾民、祈賜爾僕智慧之心、為民折中、而辨是非、

故凡我中之完人、宜懷此志、若有異志、上帝亦將以此示爾、

蓋上帝知爾食之日、爾目必明、將如上帝、能辨善惡、

婢則曰、願我主我王之言慰我、蓋我主我王之辨是非、如上帝之使、願爾上帝耶和華偕爾、

夫我儕於事多蹶、惟言語無蹶者、是為完人、能範其身、

上帝曰、因爾求此、不求壽富、亦不求滅敵之命、惟求智慧以聽訟、

爾言之味何其甘、入於我口、較勝於蜜兮、

爾膏香而美、爾名如膏之傾注、故眾女愛汝、

耳豈非辨言、如口之嘗食乎、

書拉密女曰我所愛者、在諸男中、如林木間之㰋果樹、我坐其蔭下而極樂、嘗其果實而覺甘、

故當純全若爾天父焉、
