爾曹學道已久、當為他人之師、但今復需人以天主道之開端教爾、爾成為需乳不需堅實之食者、

以資歷論、爾等此時應可為人師矣；而在實際、仍須人教爾等以淺近之教理、一如乳臭兒之未可遽進以乾糧也。
