蓋以時而論、爾當為師、然尚需人以上帝聖詔小學之始教導爾曹、且為需乳不需粒食者、

爾學之久矣、當自為師、但今需我復教爾上帝道小學之始、譬之孩提、猶需乳哺、無事肉食、

爾曹學道已久、當為他人之師、但今復需人以天主道之開端教爾、爾成為需乳不需堅實之食者、

以資歷論、爾等此時應可為人師矣；而在實際、仍須人教爾等以淺近之教理、一如乳臭兒之未可遽進以乾糧也。

就要愛慕那純淨的靈奶，像才生的嬰孩愛慕奶一樣，叫你們因此漸長，以致得救。

所以，我們應當離開基督道理的開端，竭力進到完全的地步，不必再立根基，就如那懊悔死行、信靠神、

弟兄們，我從前對你們說話，不能把你們當作屬靈的，只得把你們當作屬肉體，在基督裏為嬰孩的。我是用奶餵你們，沒有用飯餵你們。那時你們不能吃，就是如今還是不能。你們仍是屬肉體的，因為在你們中間有嫉妒、紛爭，這豈不是屬乎肉體、照着世人的樣子行嗎？

凡只能吃奶的都不熟練仁義的道理，因為他是嬰孩；

譏誚先知的說：他要將知識指教誰呢？要使誰明白傳言呢？是那剛斷奶離懷的嗎？他竟命上加命，令上加令，律上加律，例上加例，這裏一點，那裏一點。

又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，好指教少年婦人，愛丈夫，愛兒女，

那時亞希多弗所出的主意好像人問神的話一樣；他昔日給大衛，今日給押沙龍所出的主意，都是這樣。

這人曾在曠野會中和西奈山上，與那對他說話的天使同在，又與我們的祖宗同在，並且領受活潑的聖言傳給我們。

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌神。

若有講道的，要按着神的聖言講；若有服事人的，要按着神所賜的力量服事，叫神在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。原來榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

耶穌說：「噯！這又不信又悖謬的世代啊，我在你們這裏要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏來吧！」

眾弟子啊，你們當來聽我的話！我要將敬畏耶和華的道教訓你們。

耶穌說：「噯！不信的世代啊，我在你們這裏要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏來吧。」

你們一切乾渴的都當就近水來；沒有銀錢的也可以來。你們都來，買了吃；不用銀錢，不用價值，也來買酒和奶。

弟兄們，我還有話說，你們要靠主喜樂。我把這話再寫給你們，於我並不為難，於你們卻是妥當。

凡事大有好處：第一是神的聖言交託他們。

但在教會中，寧可用悟性說五句教導人的話，強如說萬句方言。

以斯拉定志考究遵行耶和華的律法，又將律例典章教訓以色列人。

所以，耶和華向他們說的話是命上加命，令上加令，律上加律，例上加例，這裏一點，那裏一點，以致他們前行仰面跌倒，而且跌碎，並陷入網羅被纏住。
