蓋以時而論、爾當為師、然尚需人以上帝聖詔小學之始教導爾曹、且為需乳不需粒食者、

爾學之久矣、當自為師、但今需我復教爾上帝道小學之始、譬之孩提、猶需乳哺、無事肉食、

爾曹學道已久、當為他人之師、但今復需人以天主道之開端教爾、爾成為需乳不需堅實之食者、

以資歷論、爾等此時應可為人師矣；而在實際、仍須人教爾等以淺近之教理、一如乳臭兒之未可遽進以乾糧也。

像初生嬰孩愛慕那純淨的靈奶，好叫你們靠它長大，進入救恩；

所以，我們應當離開基督初步的道理，努力進到成熟的地步，不必在懊悔致死的行為，信靠神，洗禮，按手禮，死人復活，和永遠審判的教訓上再立根基。

弟兄們，我從前對你們說話，還不能把你們看作屬靈的人，只能看作屬肉體的人，看作在基督裡的嬰孩。我餵給你們吃的是奶，不是飯，因為那時你們不能吃，就是現在還是不能，因為你們仍然是屬肉體的。在你們當中既然有嫉妒紛爭，你們不還是屬肉體，照著世人的方式而行嗎？

凡是吃奶的，還是個嬰孩，對公義的道理沒有經歷；

他們說：“他要把知識教導誰呢？要使誰明白他所傳的信息呢？是那些剛斷奶，剛離開母懷的嗎？因為他所說的，只是些重複又重複的話，和毫無意義的字母，這裡一點，那裡一點罷了。”

照樣，勸年老的婦女行為要敬虔，不說讒言，不被酒奴役，用善道教導人，好提醒年輕的婦女愛丈夫愛兒女，

那時，亞希多弗所出的策略，好像是人求問神得來的話一樣。亞希多弗為大衛，或為押沙龍所出的策略都是這樣。

那曾經在曠野的大會中，和那在西奈山上對他說話的使者同在，也與我們的祖先同在的，就是他。他領受了活的聖言，傳給我們。

你們要讓基督的道豐豐富富地住在你們心裡，以各樣的智慧，彼此教導，互相勸戒，用詩章、聖詩、靈歌，懷著感恩的心歌頌神。

講道的，應當按著神的聖言講；服事的，應當按著神所賜的力量服事，為要在一切事上，使神藉耶穌基督得榮耀。榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們。

耶穌說：“唉！這又不信又乖謬的世代啊！我要跟你們在一起到幾時呢？我要忍受你們到幾時呢？把孩子帶到我這裡來吧。”

孩子們！你們要來聽我；我要教導你們敬畏耶和華。

耶穌回答他們：“唉！不信的世代啊！我跟你們在一起到幾時呢？我要忍受你們到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裡來吧。”

唉！口渴的人哪！你們都就近水來吧。沒有銀錢的，你們也要來，買了就吃。你們要來，買酒和奶，不用銀子，也不用付代價。

最後，我的弟兄們，你們要靠著主喜樂。我寫這些話給你們，在我並不困難，對你們卻是妥當的。

從各方面來說，的確很多。最重要的，是神的聖言已經託付了他們。

但在教會中，我寧願用理智說五句話去教導人，勝過用方言說萬句話。

因為以斯拉專心尋求研究耶和華的律法，並且遵行，在以色列中教導律例和典章。

所以耶和華對他們所說的話，就成了重複又重複的話，和毫無意義的字母，這裡一點，那裡一點，以致他們雖然往前走，卻必仰面跌倒，並且跌傷，陷入網羅被纏住。
