蓋論第七日有云、上帝於第七日畢其諸工而安息、

載正經七日篇云、上帝於第七日、畢其事而安息、

蓋論及第七日、經云、天主於第七日、已竣其工而安息、

經中論第七日有云：「天主工作既畢、於第七日乃享其安寧。」

For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words:“ On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”

Somewhere he spoke about the seventh day. He said,“ On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”( Genesis 2:2)

For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way:“ And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.”

We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day:“ On the seventh day God rested from all his work.”

For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in this way: And on the seventh day God rested from all his works.

For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day:“ And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;

For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way:“ And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;

For he hath said somewhere of the seventh day on this wise, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;

for somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this way: And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh[ day] on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day,“ God rested on the seventh day from all his works;”

For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, and he rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

It is a sign between me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”

The heavens and the earth were completed with everything that was in them.By the seventh day God finished the work that he had been doing, and he ceased on the seventh day all the work that he had been doing.

Instead someone testified somewhere:“ What is man that you think of him or the son of man that you care for him?
