夫我儕之信者、得入安息、如上帝所言、我怒而誓曰、彼必不入我安息、然其工自創世時已畢矣、

惟我信者、得享上帝安息、經云、我怒誓不許不信者享吾安息、此言上帝創世之時、事畢而安息、

惟我儕已信者、得享安息、如主云、我怒而誓、必不許其享我之安息、其實造物之工、自創世以來皆已竣矣、

若夫我輩、則固已信之、終當有見納於安寧之一日。何則、天主之言曰：「我憤乃誓、不令入吾安寧。」實則天主之化工、自創世時固已完成矣。

Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,“ So I declared on oath in my anger,‘ They shall never enter my rest.’” And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world.

Now we who have believed enjoy that rest. God said,“ When I was angry, I made a promise. I said,‘ They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.’ ”( Psalm 95:11) Ever since God created the world, his works have been finished.

For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said,“ As I swore in my wrath,‘ They shall not enter my rest,’” although his works were finished from the foundation of the world.

For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said,“ In my anger I took an oath:‘ They will never enter my place of rest,’” even though this rest has been ready since he made the world.

For we who have believed enter the rest, in keeping with what he has said, So I swore in my anger,“ They will not enter my rest,” even though his works have been finished since the foundation of the world.

For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said,“ As I swore in My anger, They certainly shall not enter My rest,” although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.

For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:“ So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

For we who have believed do enter into that rest; even as he hath said, As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

( for we who have believed enter the rest), in keeping with what He has said: So I swore in My anger, they will not enter My rest. And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world,

“ Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (niv)

He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. (niv)

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning— the sixth day. (niv)

Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. (niv)

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (niv)

We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said,‘ We will not walk in it.’ (niv)

to whom he said,“ This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and,“ This is the place of repose”— but they would not listen. (niv)

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.” (niv)

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. (niv)

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love (niv)
