Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.

故當毅然至沾恩之位之前、得矜恤恩寵、適合機宜而助我、

故我儕當毅然至施恩之寶座前、則可蒙矜恤、受恩寵、隨時得祐助焉、

是故吾人儘可拓開心胸、從容自在、趨近慈恩座前、俾蒙憐恤、而獲及時之恩佑也。

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

So let us boldly approach God’s throne of grace. Then we will receive mercy. We will find grace to help us when we need it.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Therefore, brothers, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus,by a new and living way He has opened for us through the curtain( that is, His flesh),and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times to take it away from me.But He said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out,“ Abba, Father!”The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children,and if children, also heirs— heirs of God and coheirs with Christ— seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

“ Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.What man among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
