为此，我们也不断地感谢神，因为你们听见我们所传神的道的时候，你们领受了，不以为这是人的道，而以为这确实是神的道，而且在你们信主的人当中运行着。

有利剑从他口中出来，用来击打列国。他要用铁杖管辖他们，并且要踹全能神烈怒的榨酒池。

我—耶和华是鉴察人心，考验人肺腑的，要按各人所行的和他做事的结果报应他。”

因为我们争战的兵器本不是属血气的，而是凭着神的能力，能够攻破坚固的营垒。我们攻破各样的计谋，和各样拦阻人认识神的高垒，又夺回人心来顺服基督。

凡被光所照明的都显露出来，

愿他们口中称颂神为至高，手里有两刃的剑，

要亲近主，他是活石，虽然被人所丢弃，却是神所拣选、所珍贵的。你们作为活石，要被建造成属灵的殿，成为圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的属灵祭物。

我坐下，我起来，你都晓得；你从远处知道我的意念。

若个个都作先知讲道，偶然有不信的或是不懂方言的人进来，就被众人劝戒，被众人审问，他心里的隐情被显露出来，就必将脸伏地，敬拜神，宣告说：“神真的是在你们中间了。”

我就是从天上降下来生命的粮；人若吃这粮，必永远活着。我为世人的生命所赐下的粮就是我的肉。”

其余的人被白马骑士口中吐出来的剑杀了；所有的飞鸟都吃饱了他们的肉。

所以，你当悔改；若不悔改，我很快就到你那里来，用我口中的剑攻击他们。

他们祷告完了，聚会的地方震动；他们都被圣灵充满，放胆传讲神的道。

从前引导你们、传神的道给你们的人，你们要记念他们，效法他们的信心，回顾他们为人的结局。

我又看见一些宝座，坐在上面的有审判的权柄赐给他们。我又看见那些因为给耶稣作见证，并为神之道被斩首的人的灵魂，和没有拜过那兽与兽像、也没有在额上和手上打过它印记的人的灵魂。他们都复活了，与基督一同作王一千年。

我又要杀死她的儿女，众教会就知道，我是那察看人肺腑心肠的，我要照你们的行为报应各人。

“这比喻是这样的：种子就是神的道。

愿赐平安的神亲自使你们完全成圣！愿你们的灵、魂、体得蒙保守，在我们的主耶稣基督来临的时候，完全无可指责。

勇士啊，愿你腰间佩刀，大展荣耀和威严，

他按自己的旨意，用真理的道生了我们，使我们在他所造的万物中成为初熟的果子。

众人听见这话，觉得扎心，就对彼得和其余的使徒说：“诸位弟兄，我们该怎样做呢？”

却要以公义审判贫寒人，以正直判断地上的困苦人，以口中的棍击打全地，以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。

反而把那些暗昧可耻的事弃绝了，不行诡诈，不曲解神的道，只将真理显扬出来，好在神面前把自己推荐给各人的良心。

我们不像许多人，把神的道当商品贩卖，而是由于真诚，而是受命于神，在神面前凭着基督讲道。

智慧人的话语如同刺棒；这些嘉言好像钉稳的钉子，都是一个牧者所赐的。

后来却苦似茵陈，锐利如两刃的剑。

耶和华必使你从锡安伸出你能力的权杖；你务要在仇敌中掌权。

但对那蒙召的，无论是犹太人、希腊人，基督总是神的大能，神的智慧。

议会的人听了极其恼怒，想要杀他们。
