並且要戴上救恩的頭盔，拿起聖靈的寶劍，就是神的道，

你們得了重生，並不是由於能壞的種子，卻是由於不能朽壞的，就是藉著神永活長存的道。

他使我的口如快刀，把我藏在他手的陰影之下；他又使我成為磨亮的箭，把我藏在他的箭袋裡。

你的話一解開，就發出亮光，使愚人有悟性。

他的右手拿著七星，有一把兩刃的利劍從他口中吐出來；他的臉發光好像正午的烈日。

我們也為這緣故不住感謝神，因為你們接受了我們所傳的神的道，不認為這是人的道，而認為這確實是神的道。這道也運行在你們信的人裡面。

因為我們作戰所用的兵器，不是屬於這世界的，而是在神面前有能力的，可以攻陷堅固的堡壘，攻破詭辯，和做來阻擋人認識神的一切高牆，並且把一切心意奪回來，順服基督。

凡被光揭露的，都是顯而易見的。

願稱讚神的話常在他們口中；願他們手裡拿著兩刃的劍，

主是活石，雖然被人棄絕，卻是神所揀選所珍貴的；你們到他面前來，也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，作聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙神悅納的靈祭。

我坐下，我起來，你都知道；你在遠處就明白我的意念。

如果大家都講道，有未信的人或不明白的人進來，他就會被眾人勸服而知罪，被眾人審問了。他心裡隱祕的事被顯露出來，他就必俯伏敬拜神，宣告說：“神真的是在你們中間了。”

我就是從天上降下來生命的食物，人若吃了這食物，就必活到永遠。我要賜的食物就是我的肉，是為了世人的生命而賜的。”

其餘的人都被那位騎白馬的口中所吐出來的劍殺了。所有飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

所以，你應當悔改；如果不悔改，我就很快地來到你們那裡，用我口中的劍跟他們作戰。

他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動起來，他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳講神的道。

你們要記念那些領導過你們，把神的道傳給你們的人；你們要觀察他們一生的成果，要效法他們的信心。

我又看見一些寶座，有人坐在上面，他們得了審判的權柄。我也看見那些因為替耶穌作見證，並且因為神的道而被斬首的人的靈魂。他們沒有拜過獸或獸像，也沒有在額上或手上受過獸的記號。他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。

我必以死亡擊殺她的兒女；眾教會就都知道我是察驗人肺腑心腸的，我要照著你們的行為報應你們各人。

“這比喻是說，種子是神的道，

願賜平安的神親自使你們完全成聖，又願你們整個人：靈、魂和身體都得蒙保守，在我們的主耶穌基督再來的時候，無可指摘。

大能者啊！願你腰間佩上刀，彰顯你的尊榮和威嚴。

他憑著自己的旨意，藉著真理的道生了我們，使我們作他所造的萬物中初熟的果子。

他們聽了以後，覺得扎心，就對彼得和其餘的使徒說：“弟兄們，我們應當作甚麼呢？”

卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直判斷地上的困苦人；以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺死惡人。

卻把暗昧可恥的事棄絕了；不行詭詐，不摻混神的道，反而藉著顯揚真理，在神面前把自己推薦給眾人的良心。

我們不像那許多的人，為了圖利而謬講神的道。相反地，我們講話，是出於真誠，出於神，是在神面前、在基督裡的。

智慧人的言語像刺棒，他們所彙集的箴言像釘牢的釘子，都是一位牧者所賜的。

至終卻苦似苦菫，快如兩刃的劍。

耶和華必使你從錫安伸出能力的權杖，你要在你的仇敵中掌權。

但對那些蒙召的人，不論是猶太人或希臘人，基督是神的能力，神的智慧。

公議會的人聽了，非常惱怒，就想要殺他們。
