Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

是故兄弟、愈當殷勤、以堅爾召爾選、爾若行此、則永不蹶躓、蓋於我主我救者耶穌基督永久之國、必錫爾裕然而入、○

昔爾不順上帝、今因彼之不順而蒙矜恤、如是、彼今不順、緣施爾之矜恤、亦蒙矜恤焉、蓋上帝藩萬人於不順之中、乃為矜恤萬人耳、○

勿為將壞之糧而勞、宜為存至永生之糧而勞、即人子將予爾者、蓋父上帝已印之矣、

愛友乎、爾素承順、不惟於我同在時、即今暌違、益宜畏懼戰慄、以成爾之濟救、

蓋我儕素亦無知、悖逆、迷惑、役於情慾佚樂、以狠毒媢嫉度生、見惡於人、亦彼此相惡、

當入窄門、蓋引而之亡者、其門也闊、其路也寬、入之者眾、

律與先知、至約翰而已、自是上帝國之福音宣布、人人奮力以進之、
