Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To- day if ye shall hear his voice,

所以，正如聖靈所說：「今日，你們若聽他的話，

所以，就像聖靈所說的：“如果你們今天聽從他的聲音，

所以——照聖靈所說的：『今日你們如果聽見他的聲音，

是故如聖神所云、爾今日若聞其言、

聖神云、如今日爾願聽從我言、

故如聖神云、今日爾若聽主之言、則勿剛愎爾心、

因此、聖神警吾人曰：『今日若聞慈音、

So, as the Holy Spirit says:“ Today, if you hear his voice,

The Holy Spirit says,“ Listen to his voice today.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,“ Today, if you hear his voice,

Wherefore( as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,“ Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks!

For he is our God, And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To- day, oh that ye would hear his voice!Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;When your fathers tempted me, Proved me, and saw my work.Forty years long was I grieved with that generation, And said, It is a people that do err in their heart, And they have not known my ways:Wherefore I sware in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.

while it is said, To- day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

he again defineth a certain day, To- day, saying in David so long a time afterward( even as hath been said before), To- day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.

Oh that my people would hearken unto me, That Israel would walk in my ways!

David himself said in the Holy Spirit, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet.

Brethren, it was needful that the scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spake before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to them that took Jesus.
