But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

然則基督為子以齊其家、我若毅然歡望、至終鞏固、則可為其家人矣、

基督為子、治理其家、我儕若持守毅然之心、與可誇之望、鞏固至終、則皆為其家、

惟基督則為嗣子乃聖宅之主人也。聖宅者何、吾人是已；亦在吾人常存蓬勃之朝氣、與夫浩然之望德、堅忍不拔、莫負初心而已矣。

But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

But Christ is faithful as the Son over the house of God. And we are his house if we hold tightly to what we are certain about. We must also hold tightly to the hope we boast in.

but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a son. And we are his house, if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.

But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and[ that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in[ them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by[ his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost[ which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

And ye shall be hated of all[ men] for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Let us hold fast the profession of[ our] faith without wavering;( for he[ is] faithful that promised;)

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if[ any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast[ our] profession.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and[ be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard,[ and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in[ his] goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses[ was faithful] in all his house.For this[ man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given[ us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see[ him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou[ art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish[ from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed[ are] all they that put their trust in him.

Rejoice evermore.

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

But that which ye have[ already] hold fast till I come.

And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet[ are] like fine brass;

Blessed[ be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.Of the increase of[ his] government and peace[ there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
