弟兄们，你们要当心，免得你们中间有人存着不信的邪恶之心，以致离开永生的神。

弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得你們中間或有人存着不信的惡心，把永生神離棄了。

兄弟乎、爾宜慎、免爾中或懷不信之惡心、背維生之上帝、

兄弟乎、毋惡於志、而懷不信、背永生之上帝、

兄弟乎、爾當謹慎、恐爾中有人、懷不信之惡心、違背永生天主、

兄弟其慎之哉！莫使爾中有一人存執拗不信之心、自絕於永生之主宰也。

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

Brothers and sisters, make sure that none of you has a sinful heart. Do not let an unbelieving heart turn you away from the living God.

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.

Watch out, brothers and sisters, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;

Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:

Watch out, brothers, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that departs from the living God.

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has an evil, unbelieving heart that forsakes the living God.

Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. (niv)

But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. They went backward and not forward. (niv)

But they will reply,‘ It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’” (niv)

See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? (niv)

See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. (niv)

But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.’” (niv)

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! (niv)

And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” (niv)

“ My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water. (niv)

For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; (niv)

That is why I was angry with that generation; I said,‘ Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ (niv)

At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the Lord, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the Lord. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts. (niv)

For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come— sexual immorality, theft, murder,adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” (niv)

But you have behaved more wickedly than your ancestors. See how all of you are following the stubbornness of your evil hearts instead of obeying me. (niv)

“ You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. (niv)

Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. (niv)

When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him,“ Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her, for like an adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.” (niv)

For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I am not guilty of turning from my God. (niv)

He replied:“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them. (niv)

The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart:“ Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done. (niv)

For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. (niv)

Jesus answered:“ Watch out that no one deceives you. (niv)

They said to God,‘ Leave us alone! What can the Almighty do to us?’ (niv)

for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, (niv)

So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time. (niv)

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” (niv)

We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. (niv)

Yet they say to God,‘ Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways. (niv)

rebellion and treachery against the Lord, turning our backs on our God, inciting revolt and oppression, uttering lies our hearts have conceived. (niv)
