是以清潔之兄弟、與天之召、宜思我儕所信奉之使者大祭司耶穌、

廉潔兄弟、共蒙天召、當深思吾教祭司長、奉上帝命之耶穌基督、

聖潔兄弟、共蒙天召者、爾當深思我教之使者與大祭司、我教之使者與大祭司或作我儕所信為使者為大祭司者即基督耶穌、

是故同蒙恩召之聖兄弟、盍一諦觀為吾教總宣道使及大司祭之耶穌乎！

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.

Holy brothers and sisters, God chose you to be his people. So keep thinking about Jesus. We embrace him as our apostle and our high priest.

Now, the LORD of Armies says this:“ Think carefully about your ways:

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Now the main point of what is being said is this: We have this kind of high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,a minister of the sanctuary and the true tabernacle that was set up by the Lord and not man.For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; therefore, it was necessary for this priest also to have something to offer.

Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them and have come to share in the rich root of the cultivated olive tree,

And our hope for you is firm, because we know that as you share in the sufferings, so you will also share in the comfort.

Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, since all of us share the one bread.

The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while.

including you who are also called by Jesus Christ.To all who are in Rome, loved by God, called as saints. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.By these he has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge,knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness,godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble.
