There is a place where someone has spoken about this. He said,“ What are human beings that you think about them? What is a son of man that you take care of him?

但有證者云、世人為誰、爾垂念之、人子為誰、爾眷顧之、

經云、世人誰耶、爾垂念之、人子誰耶、爾眷顧之、

有人證於經曰、世人為誰、爾垂念之、人子為誰、爾眷顧之、

惟古人已先我言之：『人處天地間、碌碌無所長；乃蒙主拔擢、聖眷異尋常；

But there is a place where someone has testified:“ What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?

It has been testified somewhere,“ What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him?

For in one place the Scriptures say,“ What are mere mortals that you should think about them, or a son of man that you should care for him?

But someone somewhere has testified: What is man that you remember him, or the son of man that you care for him?

But someone has testified somewhere, saying,“ What is man, that You think of him? Or a son of man, that You are concerned about him?

But one testified in a certain place, saying:“ What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?

But one hath somewhere testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

But one has somewhere testified: What is man that You remember him, or the son of man that You care for him?

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Instead someone testified somewhere:“ What is man that you think of him or the son of man that you care for him?

But one has somewhere testified, saying,“ What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?

What are human beings that you think about them? What is a son of man that you take care of him?You have made them a little lower than the angels. You placed on them a crown of glory and honor.You made human beings rule over everything your hands created. You put everything under their control.They rule over all flocks and herds and over the wild animals.They rule over the birds in the sky and over the fish in the ocean. They rule over everything that swims in the oceans.

Lord, what are human beings that you take care of them? What are mere people that you think about them?

“ What are human beings that you think so much of them? What are they that you pay so much attention to them?You check up on them every morning. You test them every moment.

The Lord says to his people,“ I comfort you because of who I am. Why are you afraid of mere human beings? They are like grass that dries up.

So how about human beings? They are like maggots. How about mere people? They are like worms.”

Somewhere he spoke about the seventh day. He said,“ On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”( Genesis 2:2)

They wanted to find out when and how this salvation would come. The Spirit of Christ in them was telling them about the sufferings of the Messiah. These were his sufferings that were going to come. The Spirit of Christ was also telling them about the glory that would follow.

“ Can human beings really be pure? Can those who are born really be right with God?

In another place God said,“ You are a priest forever, just like Melchizedek.”( Psalm 110:4)

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I’m about to die. But God will surely come to help you. He’ll take you up out of this land. He’ll bring you to the land he promised to give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

The people were all filled with wonder and praised God.“ A great prophet has appeared among us,” they said.“ God has come to help his people.”

To him, all the nations don’t amount to anything. He considers them to be worthless. In fact, they are less than nothing in his sight.

All of that will happen because our God is tender and caring. His kindness will bring the rising sun to us from heaven.

“ Give praise to the Lord, the God of Israel! He has come to his people and purchased their freedom.

Don’t put your trust in human leaders. Don’t trust in people who can’t save you.When they die, they return to the ground. On that day their plans come to nothing.
