惟古人已先我言之：『人處天地間、碌碌無所長；乃蒙主拔擢、聖眷異尋常；

But there is a place where someone has testified:“ What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?

There is a place where someone has spoken about this. He said,“ What are human beings that you think about them? What is a son of man that you take care of him?

It has been testified somewhere,“ What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him?

For in one place the Scriptures say,“ What are mere mortals that you should think about them, or a son of man that you should care for him?

But someone somewhere has testified: What is man that you remember him, or the son of man that you care for him?

But someone has testified somewhere, saying,“ What is man, that You think of him? Or a son of man, that You are concerned about him?

But one testified in a certain place, saying:“ What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?

But one hath somewhere testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

But one has somewhere testified: What is man that You remember him, or the son of man that You care for him?

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

But one has somewhere testified, saying,“ What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?

Of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should pay attention to them,and make them a little less than the heavenly beings? You grant mankind honor and majesty;you appoint them to rule over your creation; you have placed everything under their authority,including all the sheep and cattle, as well as the wild animals,the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea and everything that moves through the currents of the seas.

O LORD, of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should be concerned about them?

“ What is mankind that you make so much of them, and that you pay attention to them?And that you visit them every morning, and try them every moment?

“ I, I am the one who consoles you. Why are you afraid of mortal men, of mere human beings who are as short-lived as grass?

how much less a mortal man, who is but a maggot– a son of man, who is only a worm!”

For he has spoken somewhere about the seventh day in this way:“ And God rested on the seventh day from all his works,”

They probed into what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when he testified beforehand about the sufferings appointed for Christ and his subsequent glory.

What is man that he should be pure, or one born of woman, that he should be righteous?

as also in another place God says,“ You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die. But God will surely come to you and lead you up from this land to the land he swore on oath to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Fear seized them all, and they began to glorify God, saying,“ A great prophet has appeared among us!” and“ God has come to help his people!”

All the nations are insignificant before him; they are regarded as absolutely nothing.

Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on high

“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he has come to help and has redeemed his people.

Do not trust in princes, or in human beings, who cannot deliver!Their life’s breath departs, they return to the ground; on that day their plans die.
